- Hakuzo considers him and Akari pretty much the same person.  In her words "Why would I need a mirror when I got Hakuzo."  They were just too much awesome to be one person.
- He doesn't go easy on anyone who fights him unless he doesn't respect you
- First aid is for worrywarts, rubbing dirt on it works just as well and you can keep going!
- after the attacks on the village and his newly acquired scars he started wearing his mask around all the time, not really thinking much about it
- Has three older brothers  
- he is loyal, like if he decides he likes you you're gonna have to be a real dick to make him dislike you
- when he was younger he just assumed Akari was a boy, as did Akari and defended his twin for bein' pretty  good at writing his name in the snow despite bein' injured.
- Tends to shorten everyone's names because it takes too much effort to say the whole thing. Plus nicknames mean you're close!

Fun Facts about Hiruko:
- He actually has both eyes, he just 1. thinks this makes him look cooler, and 2. thinks if he switches it over it'll help him fight better at night because USED TO THE DARK
- he really doesn't mind being used as a pillow by Hakuzo
- he speaks super rude to non kitsune using all sorts of swear words to get a rise out of them
