Idiot of the West - Chapter 3

Rodney: Yow! What in tarnation’s that? (Sees buffalo charging at them; grabs Thomas and
Bessie from the ground and hop on a buffalo) Yield, nelly! (Stops the buffalo).

Bessie: What are we riding on?

Rodney: It’s our new buffalo, Jeremiah!

Thomas: Jeremiah?

Rodney: Or Jerry for short. This big fella can take us back to town. Giddy up, Jerry! WA-cha! (Falls to the ground). Can someone help me up?

[Back in town, Isaac sees Rodney and his friends coming back to town]

Isaac: Well look who decided to show up!

Thomas: Uh oh! It’s Isaac!

Rodney: Let me do the talking… (Walks up to Isaac) Hey you… uh… two-timing varmint! Leave those people alone.

Isaac: Are you talking to me?!

Rodney: I reckon I is!

Isaac: I oughta shoot you ‘til you’re pushing daisies six feet under!

Rodney: Hey… them’s fightin’ words!

[A stagecoach comes in out of nowhere and the driver opens its door and lets out the new beautiful girl, Belle Josephine]

Belle: Oh my, this town has some class.

[Rodney looked at Belle and felt stunned in love; Isaac punches Rodney to the saloon rendering him unconscious]

Isaac: Haha! So long, moron! Come boys let’s ride! (Isaac and his men grab their horses and ride out the town)

[Thomas and Bessie grab Rodney out of the hole and tried to wake him up]

Thomas: Rodney, are you all right?

Rodney: (Spins his head) I… I think I’m in love…

Bessie: With who?

Rodney: That lady right there… (Rodney pointed to Belle who is inside the saloon). She’s
so pretty…

Thomas: Why don’t you talk to her?

Rodney: I… I can’t I never had to talk to a girl… but I guess I’ll try…

[Rodney walks slowly to the stool and sits next to Belle; he acted very nervous]
