It's hard to believe that come this December I will have had the pleasure and honor of knowing you for a year now. My, how the time has flown! You were one of the very first people to befriend me on deviantART and for that I will always be grateful.

Initially when I started submitting to this wonderful community, my gallery was roughly ninety-five percent literature and five percent photography with the rare drawings sprinkled throughout. That was back when the literature community on here was no where near as large as it is now and my confidence in drawing was nowhere near as strong.

Needless to say, I was lonely on here. I even seriously considered leaving at times. Your friendship has definitely encouraged me to stay and grow as an artist. I know you're not as active on here as you were before but I will always be happy to hear from you.

There is a lot of hatred in the world right now. So today, right here and right now, I want to spread some love. Even if I can only spread a little bit.
You are amazing.
Yes, you. You might have had a really bad day today. Maybe your partner broke up with you, or someone in your family died, or God forbid any other sad event. Or maybe you are just stuck in traffic. Just know that it will get better. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but it will. Maybe you had an amazing day where everything went right! Hold on to that and make it last.
You are loved. No matter how low you may feel, there are people in your life who love you. And I love you, even if I don't know you, because I know that you are a person. And not just a person, but an amazing person who probably values Art, and the opinion of other people. You probably put yourself down or feel worthless at times. But I know that you aren't.
Everyone has talents and parts about them that sparkle. Focus on those instead of the dirty spots. Those sparkly spots are what I focus on, and you should too.
Remember this message. Remember the love. Look for the love. Look for it in the nature around you, the birds, flowers, and grass, all happy that you are alive. Look for it in the people around you who value you so much. And look for it in yourself. You need to love yourself.
Take this message and spread it to other people. Spread the love.
