Life update
Hi all! It's been a few years since I've really been active. I've been really restless for a long time now, trying different art websites, and eventually only moving to my discord group mostly. Truth is I've always felt massive pressure producing art ever since I tried to pursue it as a career, and I've worked myself into a massive burnout. Handling life with unmedicated ADHD and a chronic physical illness really didn't help. I'm doing okay now, I resigned my art business about a year ago now, and I've barely picked up the pencil since. I'm now working/studying nature management. I work outdoors all day, and I've felt my mental health improve massively, and I now see how bad my situation really was a few years back. I feel my inspiration and love for art returning now, and I hope to get back into finishing a few owed things and then just doing non commission work for a while to see how I feel. I hope some of you are still active here! I hope to share things again soon :) wishing
Hello, It's been a while!
A message and a question to you, the reader! It's been a hot minute since I've been on DA. I do regularly check notifications, and to the new watchers I'd like to say welcome! To anyone who is still here, how have you been? I'd like to get a little more active again. I mainly have a lot of sketches, unfinished stuff. I would like to ask you, the watchers, are you still active? And do you have anything you'd like to see from me? About my current projects and what hole I just crawled out of I've not been active here, or anywhere really! Instagram is probably my most active social media platform(velkss_art). I am, however, pretty active on my discord server! It is mainly a place to stay in touch with arcanus development ( my world building and species project). But it did become more than that. You can also share in our general art servers, and join the chit chat. Until the ARPG is set up (yes, it's not dead, we just have to wait for the website to go in testing phase) we do host

I'm mainly a mobile user and DeviantArt currently doesn't feel mobile or PC friendly. I'm still working on the ARPG tho, but I might settle for an off-site option after all if any good opportunities present themselves. Please let me know what you prefer! Or if you have no preference.

I havent done a collab in years, so im not sure what part that i would consider my favorite? I guess i love rough sketching, (a little bit) lining, colors and shading/high lights. Im not very found of backgrounds hehe, and I succ on special effects. Maybeeeee simple are okay idk :T
