december evening on my street

I grew up in a socialistic block of flats from early 80's.
Back then people from various social layers were mixed together in one unit.
There was a shopassistant, there was a lawyer, there were unemployed people and my dad who worked for the government (and a guy who was supposed to spy him and report.)
In late 90's my dad left. 

Old blocks of flats make me think of my childhood times without "Western goodies".
Everything was or unavailable or very expensive (Snickers, Mars, Lego, Barbie etc.) and it was such a special day to get one of those things ^^ 
It also makes me think of countries which don't exist anymore like Czechoslovakia, Western & Eastern Germany or Yugoslavia.
