Kichiro is able to secrete a sticky substance from talons; using this he can stick things to the ground or to other items; he can now create the tar from any of his talons, making him quite hard to budge and allows him to climb up vertical surfaces and ceilings, as well as stabilizing his balance. The tar becomes brittle eventually, but can last up to 30 minutes with concentration.
Withhis magic having grown, Kii can now control a small blob of Tar up to 2 ft away from his body.

~The first thing that comes to any gryphon, and many a gryphoneer's mind when talking about Kichiro is 'Mischief', and it is rightly so; Kichiro's favorite past time is to pull pranks on others, nothing serious just a bit of tar here and there... couple of trips..... items going missing... and dozens of other things. Several of his 'pets' possess a similar streak, often causing havoc around the Tower. He's also stubborn, refusing to 'let' go ot back down if he thinks he's right, or its something of his. He's also one of the most carefree gryphlets abeit, often to to annoyance of his class mates and several older gryphons; however, he does study and is truly earnest about becoming a gryphoneer/skylord... but one has to have fun in the meantime, otherwise it gets boring. With his elemental ability been tar, normally on himself, Kii isn't that vain, and in fact makes fun of other gryphon's vanity, though he is confident in himself for the most part.

A side of him that few ever think to look for past his mischief is his affectionate and loyal nature. For those he truly cares for, such as his 'pets' and family; he's very affectionate, and intensely loyal once someone has earned his trust and friendship, there is nothing he won't do for them.... though they are still eligible for pulling pranks on.....
