Name: Edin Sekito

Species: Homunculus / Summoning Mage
Species Description: A Homunculus created imperfectly. The first created in a series of four, there are several debilitating parts of this Homunculus that if exploited, assuredly lead to death. Particularly, he cannot eat or drink without it violently making a reappearance, and threatening to rupture the esophagus. Also too much intense physical exertion; his body lives on his magical energy, which can deplete quickly. _{This doesn't excuse his attitude.}

Abilities:

Element Channeling: Affinity for the elements insofar as he uses them to power his body... and summon small elemental beasts to his side for various needs and aid. The animals are usually fairly small, like birds or small mammals. Can summon two at a time at most for the moment, and the summoning power is quick to drain his energy.
Levitation: Being a bit of a lazy person he is, he prefers to hover or levitate above the ground, as opposed to actually walk. This is a passive ability, and he can indefinitely hover a foot or so off the ground, any higher and it takes his energy, albeit at a slower pace than his channeling.

Tells it like it is, and often in ways most people probably don't understand.
Never has to eat or drink, not even for recreation!
Desensitivity to the most morbid of things; to the point he'll commit an atrocity and probably smile while doing it.

Weaknesses:

If he is forced to eat or drink, it violently tears him apart from the inside out. Painful regurgitation.
He can smoke... and is addicted to smoking various herbs for various effects.
Due to his energy depleting weakness, he can sleep for a very long time to recuperate.
Small animals; might be why that's all he summons.

Personality:

There isn't generally much to see that can be redeemable when it comes to this blue-clad and haired young man. With a flick of the wrist and a suave smile upon his face, he appears to be a man of exquisite beauty... but beneath that image is a violent fellow, who will as soon strip away a person's entire being with only a few words. That, or he'll delight in watching people squirm in confusion, deeming them too unintelligent or unlearned to know what he's saying. Basically, he's the type to watch the world burn around him, caused by him, and enjoy crushing feelings underfoot.

Well... if he liked dirtying his boots, anyway.

Of course there's definitely some depth to such a scathing character. There was something that made him this way, wasn't there? There's another side to the man who makes sure every hair is in place and not a toe is out of line when he floats and talks... right? If it's there, no one's seen it in a while, not even Edin himself. For one who says all the world's a stage, it's hard to know whether he's an actor anymore, or just a critic in the audience...

History:

What's there to tell? His story seems to change any time he tells it, though it never increases in drama or anything like that. Subtle detail changes here and there, made with a toss of the hand or a light laugh. The few things that don't change are things he seems either proud about, or ashamed of, as if reminding himself of these acts that he'd committed over the years.

Created the oldest of four homunculi, Edin happened to be flawed thanks to the strong magical implant within him, and as such, was trashed and his "sisters" were more favored than he was. Scooping up the first one after she was created, he was rid of her within days; all because he selfishly wanted the attention of their creator. It failed, it blew up in his face, and instead what Edin got was another sister. Fast forward, he sought to prove his flaws as perfections to his creator, that he would find his first sister and prove that he was the true stronger between the two of them -- what he didn't expect was to become so attached to this vibrant girl of life. To think, because of him, she didn't grow up bitter like he. So when their creator sought to take her away from him, Edin did what he had only dreamed of doing before... and with a boot to the face, kicked his father over the edge of an abyss, and down to his death.

Do the crime, do the time. His sister found him in his exile, and brought home a boy... the boy was forcibly taken home, leaving her devastated -- and no, no, that would not do. He sought to bring the boy back, and with his volatile magic, utterly ripped apart the home... leaving a colorful nebula explosion in the sky.

Do the crime, do the time. Uncontrolled when cast, Edin knew he had to fix the flaws. They weren't perfections anymore, with that much devastation. At her prodding, he swallowed his pride, albeit only a little, and went to some school she said an old friend was attending. Well, if it was doing wonders for him, it could help Edin, right? At the least, maybe he could learn how to keep the magic in check... or channel it other ways.

Misc. Information:

Has large "stitch" like scars at various points of his body such as: wrists, shoulders, collarbone, hips, ankles. These are all points in which he was sewn together after the body had been grown limb by limb. All are sensitive to touch and stand out against his skin; he will always try to keep them covered.
When truly emotional, he will drop his flowery language and speak with a more street-slang type of voice.
In spite of not being able to eat or drink, he suffers some serious constant cravings and hunger.
When he smokes, it's usually with some varying fancy pipe or long smoking stick. To feel fancy and all.
Though it's hard to tell, his eyes are a bright cerulean blue!

Greetings, students and potentials! As the seasons begin to change and the snow outside begs to melt, our doors are opening once again. It is expected of upper years to be... 'welcoming', to new students as they enter our halls for the first time. Do be sure to show them around the haunted chambers and dungeons.
With that being said, one door opens and another must close. Another semester has come to an end, and it is time to choose courses for the new term. The staff are well aware that you do not have your final grades submitted to you, but please be advised they should be released in the coming weeks (by April 19th). Until then, you are free to submit your course timetable below and make any adjustments as necessary once final grades have been released. Be sure to bear in mind any prerequisites that courses may require, and whether or not you may need to retake a class.
