Inadhra

This is the fixed version of my picture Sideways, which you can see here: 
There are a lot of things that still aren't as good as they possibly should be, but for my current skill level, I am happy. Still need to practice anatomy, though. I also experimented a bit with textures - not sure how happy I am with them.

I finally realised who this is, too. For those who don't know (which is most of you, I guess), I write novels and other stories, and most of the portraits I make end up as some kind of character from them. Not because I intend it, but subconsciously I seem to paint those characters, but I don't always realise it until I'm nearly done. Occasionally it's the other way around, and I paint a person who then suddenly becomes a character because I thought of an interesting backstory. 

This one is a woman called Inadhra. She started out as the youngest daughter of a noble house, was married off to the emperor (who's been the villain in a couple of stories) as a way of keeping her family under control, and then... Well, things happened. She's normally a kind and somewhat cautious person who prefers books to most people, but don't ever make her angry. Seriously.
