Isa and Karim had been focussing on dressage lately. They enjoyed it, but Isa felt it was time to jump again! She decided to go 'official', and try for the Diploma Novice Jumper, from HARPG-International. This was no jumping around, this was serious buisiness, wich they had to train for! So that was what they were going to do. 
On a sunny morning, Isa took Karim out of his box, to groom him, and to tack him up. First training was comming up!
After a thorough warming-up, Isa and Karim went for the first jump. Just a low Cross-rail. It was easy, no big deal. They started to go higher, but comming in from a trot. Karim would easily fly over, land smooth and carry-on. Then Isa started on a line, she earlier created. It was a low cavaletti, a single jump, and again a cavaletti. This was for Karim to learn to look, think and pick up his feet. Karim was no runner, so the excersice went very smooth. Isa would raise the single jump, to a reasonable heigth to make it more and more challenging for the white stallion. Then it was time for the last excersice, a complete parcours. It wasn't very hard, or high, no quick turns or anything like that. Just some jumps to get the feeling back. Karim soared over them, riding a nice and constant pace in between the jumps. 
Isa was very pleased with the first training, she couldn't wait till the next one!
