Description
Edit: The deadline and voting has been reached! Thank you to EVERYONE who had partook in this contest! It's been an honor, and the next time one of these are run, I will brush up on the limitations from this one and aim to expand upon the content of this contest!
Really, thank you all so much. I had a lot of fun with the Oldworks Contest, and I hope you all did too!
~Rules~
1. Keep the focus on Touhou PC-98! You can still use modern Touhou but only under a PC-98 related theme.
2. Only a maximum of three entries per person! It's not required that you fill all three.
3. Label your entries by category! You don't want your drama entry ending up in comedy, do you? Also, feel free to make comics that bridge multiple categories if possible.
4. No original characters or fan characters! However generic (preferably PC-98 related stage enemies) background characters are allowed.
5. Nothing too inappropriate! Keep it subtle as we do have minors here, so keep it clean enough to make sure your entry goes through.

Modernization Challenge
Even from the modern era, we can still hearken back to the days of old from that perspective. Any character or location with a reference, re-appearance, or similarity in modern Touhou games past the 6th Touhou game can be used as the focus for a comic, and thus this award.
The focus participant characters include anything you can draw a reasonable parallel to from PC-98.
P.C. 98% Challenge
Short for: Player Characters 98%. This award will focus on the player characters and anything relevant in their adventures, be it prologue, or the ending. (Note: Every other player character in Touhou 3 cannot be the main character focus, but you can make connection to the characters of that game from the list here).
The focus participant characters include:
· Reimu (Highly Responsive to Prayers through Mystic Square)
· Marisa (Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream through Mystic Square)
· Mima (Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream or Mystic Square)
· Yuka (Mystic Square)
~Additional Guidelines & Information~
- No admin approval required, but non-contest entries will be removed from the group. Affiliates may enter without admin approval. If you're in Walfas Club, Walfas Academy, or any groups affiliated with us, you may enter! (Note: Banned members cannot participate.)
- Three entries maximum, but only your best entry will earn awards. This is to keep judging time down and ensure people don't monopolize all of the awards.
- If your entry is deemed ‘too long’ in your eyes, you can submit a second part and still have the initial submission to the contest count as one entry, but only two parts will be allowed and some categories will not be able for a second part.
- Users will vote on a Google documents voting form and confirm their vote in the voting announcement thread later in the contest. Winners are based on general votes with no weight between admin/membership statuses.
- If you don't win, it's not the end of the world: there will be more contests and you can always improve. Also, the more you comment of other people's entries, the more likely they are to see your comic(s), so please leave comments on entries.
- There is no comic length limit. Four panels are considered the norm in terms of minimum panels. Kishotenketsu/4koma form runs like this: Frame 1 sets up the situation, Frame 2 elaborates on the situation, Frame 3 introduces a new element that changes the situation, and Frame 4 is the result.
- Single screenshots panels are not allowed as this is a comic based contest; any and all submitted to contests will be removed or denied in the submission process with no access to the category list.
- Your submission will be held to the standards in The WSW Submission Guide, 2015 Edition (Part 2), if your entry doesn’t meet the general standards of quality, it may not get into the contest.
- If you’re unfamiliar with some of the Touhou PC-98 material, please use the Touhou Wiki as it’s an excellent source of information for all of the PC-98 games and characters.
- Remember: No Original Characters, No Fan Characters. Use only Touhou characters!
- Please be sure to have an accessible Walfas Avatar DNA or Custom Walfas somewhere so if you win an award we can feature you!
Looking for an additional challenge? Enter your comic into the Advanced Tier. The Advanced Tier is reserved for those who have won landslide victories in the previous Contests. If there are more than three entries in the Advanced Tier, we'll run an additional Advanced Tier contest bracket.
You may also enter "Exhibition Entries", which are ineligible to win the contest, but if they of decent quality, they are automatically copied into the Comics folder upon the completion of the contest. Just mark your comic as an "Exhibition Entry" in the description where you would normally put the nominable categories. This is for those who just want to pitch in on the idea behind the contest but do not wish to be in the contest results (WARNING: Once it's labeled as an Exhibition Entry, it is no longer eligible to win. You cannot change your mind once it's marked as an Exhibition Entry, so only label it if you truly do not wish to participate.)

I hope I've done my part helping signal-boost Touhou PC-98.
By the way, when you say "No OCs" and "Focus on PC-98", would that include a "narrator" character who breaks the fourth wall a bit but never appears onscreen, buildings or locations that weren't really mentioned in the PC-98 games but would most likely be there, references to real people (famous people, not other users), references to Walfas or even to the contest itself, or other similar story elements? I have an idea but it strays far from a usual Touhou fan-comic...
