Though he often makes nests out of the things he's acquired, he's very careful with them and all other books, and several of Cal's servants have seem him 'pick' a book of one of the shelves using his whiskers, and place it on Cals desk; more often that not, these manuscripts are in need of repair. 
 Once he starts building or tweaking one of his nests, he 'zones' out in regards to any other happenings, and doesn't respond at all until its finished.
 He loves to play, whether it be with Cal, Lyall, the servants or any of Calador's visitors, as long as he's not modifying his nest he happily play. His favorite game is where he 'protects' his nest form intruders, more often than not it will be the servants he somehow manages to coax into playing with him.
