This month we are using the the colorful inspiration of Mardi Gras for our contest projects. Purple, green and gold are traditional colors. We will also accept projects inspired by Carnival. Be sure to explain your inspiration in your comments.
Rules
Only knit and crochet work is accepted. ANY type of projects are acceptable for this contest! Hats, scarves, blankets, a cell phone cozy, etc....be as creative as possible...as long as it stays within the theme.

You are allowed to customize this pattern however you like as long as the main idea is still recognizable.
You are allowed to use the picture to make your own project without following the pattern, as long as your finished project resembles the one pictured.
You are allowed to make multiples, but they must be displayed in the same entry (photo-collages are ok).
You are allowed one entry per challenge time period.
