  • Vektren is a precise and well-functioning machine that needs all their pieces working fully together. While off duty, be sure to engage your packmates and tighten relations to enjoy the full experience of being part of a family that sees you without prejudices. Knowing your kin and their weaknesses is the best path towards perfection.

  • Be sure to be acquainted with the territory. The traps are meant to be dangerous to outsiders - it is your duty to understand how your fellow Shades work and mark the traps in order to stay safe.

  • Do not waste resources, be it clean water or food. It's obligation of the Scythes to hunt only when necessary to keep everything balanced so Vektren doesn't undergo through complete famine. Respect their work by not interfering and waiting for the proper time to partake the meals.

  • Avoid distracting an Enforcer while they are on duty. Their responsibility is to keep Vektren and its members protected as the guardians of this sanctuary, and they can't be distracted. Report immediately if you see something looking amiss.

  • Be polite and tolerant towards your fellow Vipers and their possible questions, as weird they might sound. These wolves are diplomats and negotiators, and exist to see Vektren as a whole to better understand what the pack needs most.

  • The Necrolytes are responsible for reading the will of the Gods present on the minimal details, but your bond to the Lord and Lady are no less than theirs. Shall you sense divine signals sent to you, or your soul has been restless for any reason, confide to your spiritual brothers and sisters so the wishes of the Gods is always met.

  • Remember that you are a piece to the divine scheming of the Lady Xibalten, and your body is a personal sanctuary. If you show signs of illness or get injured head to a Magister immediately and see that your wounds are tended. Sickness treated on early stages assure that you keep functioning on your fullest and that resources are not wasted.

The "Crimson Wardens"

  • Morthal is a perilous section and brings many dangers from both outside and inside. Be sure that the entire area is well secured and if possible organize a route with another enforcers and patrol in pairs, so more land is covered in less time.

  • You know the weaknesses of the territory better than any other wolf. Take a Shade while on patrol and show them where traps should be laid in order to increase security in areas that could be easily accessed by maggots.

  • The vast land of the Voidfields are an excellent place to take a fellow enforcer of lower rank for training. All higher ranked enforcers must ensure that their partners are able to protect Vektren as well you do. Lower ranked wolves should also show interest into learning and gaining experience.

The "Claws of Senisteros"

  • Your duty is not to spill blood without reason, but to put it to good use by leading the heart of a target to our sacred lands. Show your faith and loyalty to Senisteros by not allowing any heart to go waste - from both wolves and prey - and bring all of them to the Necrolytes for the Offering.

  • More than merely a murderer, it is your role to respect the course of nature and allow animals and plants to regenerate before making use of them. Take a Magister with you to the hunting grounds of the Silent Grove and learn when it's the beast season for hunting certain species.

  • Scythes do not belong to the same shape, only to the same role. Each wolf has its own dance of death to perform, and must train to improve their own skill while being able to read others. Take a fellow Scythe and test each other's limits and maneuvers to increase the odds of success during a contract.

The "Eyes of Xibalten"

  • The Shadow Mother instructs that knowledge is power, and there is no best weapon than it. Learning about other pack's cultures and even seeking after loners that might be hirers or targets is fulfilling your role in benefit of Vektren - scavenge after information and keep your pack au fait.

  • Vektren's resources are scarce and no one but you knows so well about where and how is harmless to step in the sacred lands. Safely herd prey (from the wildlands or even a packland) from outside the territory into the Silent Grove or the marshes by using your excellence on stealth and harassing these animals to its direction.

  • Sometimes, the job might be harder than your thought it would be. If you find yourself dealing with a difficult task, the most reliable source of distraction will always be a Viper - they are capable of keeping you from harm as long it is necessary to perform your mission.

The "Voidwalkers"

  • Devotion and loyalty are virtues that please our Lord and Lady, but true sacrifice is what keeps the balance of power at the Underworld. If you feel the Gods temperance growing restless, it's your trial to take matters in your own paws and find the proper offering.

  • Even though the heads of Vektren are responsible for gathering trustful members to the cult, not all of them are true believers of the might of Senisteros. While forceful opinions are not welcome, your efforts of trying to turn a non-believer to the faithful may be rewarded with a new servant of the Dread Father - seek them out.

  • Teaching the younglings about the delicate system which Vektren serves is always a fundamental part of their growth. You, as curator of the Reliquary, is allowed to take wolves there for divine lectures - introducing the pups and newcomers to this crucial part of Vektren's existence is always important.

The "Keepers of Secrets"

  • Sometimes, working undercover for the benefit of Vektren is an intelligent strategical move. Expanding your personal network may prove useful in the future as information can reach you without the filters of having the pack's name involved. Make contacts, get around, and be sure to represent your pack well - even if they never know where you come from.

  • Your task is the most attuned to all others altogether, and it's important that you are aware of Vektren's needs, strengths and weaknesses. Take a moment to interview a fellow Vektreni and get to know their overall views on the pack, its needs and how is their task being performed. This will help on your reports to the Mistress and to build a proper proposal during a negotiation.

  • If an interesting rumor about a potential hirer gets around, but you are unsure about your own safety, recruit an Enforcer to be your escort during the envoy. Sometimes, a display of strength creates a better impression of Vektren's warpower rather than approaching the hirer with diplomacy only.

The "Royal Apothecary"

  • Although Vektren's lands are extremely bountiful when it comes to variety of herbs, there are still a few that can only be found elsewhere. Take a trusted Enforcer to escort you outside the borders and see that those are gathered and safely stocked shall they might be needed in the future.

  • You are no mere healer, but also a scientist, a scholar. After the heart is successfully taken for the Offering, the remnants of the corpse are free for you to study and find effective ways of ending a wolf's life.

Keep track of the seasons and how they affect the lands to help Vektren go through the extremes as smoothly the pack is able.

Seek knowledge and truth at every corner in the physical world.

  • Vektreni are powerful elite wolves who face an unforgiving land with bare fangs, but are still prone to mundane illness. Research ways to supplement their food to increase their natural resistance and regeneration to stay prepared for any natural disaster.
