Description
A poem by Richard Lovelace, see below, and see here for the full poem: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_Althe…
speaks of the freedom a true artist has, especially when his mind is free. Anna Kirsten was an outstanding artist whose love of beauty speaks out strongly from every fractal she submitted to this site. Such love for beauty and the innate urge to create it cannot be crushed by sickness; the ability to use the tools of creation may well be hampered, even halted, but the spirit of love abides in the soul unquenched. Dear Anna, we will never forget you, and we will always have your art to inspire us.
In Ultra Fractal I made "Nor Iron Bars a Cage" for the February 2016 Challenge found here:

As most of you will know the original founder of this group, AnnaKirsten∫, sadly passed away on January 5th this year. She very much enjoyed bringing this group to life and put much of her time and energies into making it a place where Ultra Fractal artists could come together and learn from each other. We thought it would nice to merge a heart themed challenge with in

The reference in the title is to the poem:
"Stone walls do not a prison make,
Nor iron bars a cage:
Minds innocent and quiet take
That for an hermitage.
If I have freedom in my love,
And in my soul am free,
Angels alone, that soar above,
Enjoy such liberty."
