♥ Doris does aerial acrobatics while hanging from a special fabric. Using no safety lines she does various poses and figures while using the fabric to wrap, suspend, fall, spring and spiral herself. The act is ultimately done very high.
♥ Before losing Levitate Doris proved to her audience how the ability didn't help her high up; since losing it she's been doing the same thing. It's easier to show than tell how and why she would lack her species' signature ability.

2nd job: Equestrian vaulting

♥ Doris does gymnastics and dances on a horseback. She uses her skills from Aerial silks to know the basic gymnastics, but has a different choreography for each job. The circus gives her a Mudsdale to do the show; the horse's mane and tail are cut short to be more appealing. Doris doesn't own the Mudsdale but she has used this horse to do most of her training and shows to get a better feel of it. She does the show alone with an assistant that controls the horse while she's on its back.

Wish: "I just wish I could keep my hands off of women"

♥ After murdering her best friend, Karoline Vinter, Doris ran away. She took a momentary shelter in the circus grounds, where she met Mr. Dark. They talked, Doris made a wish. She realized the consequences a moment later.
♥ Mr. Dark helped Doris keep her hands off things permanently - by cutting them off. When Doris leaves the circus area with no plans of returning her hands wait for her to physically touch a woman (shaking hands, hugging, touching a shoulder, etc.). Once the need is met the hands fall clean off her wrists. This causes bleeding and closing the wounds is impossible. The wrists won't heal outside the circus and even if the wounds are forcibly closed (e.g. cauterized) they would simply reopen on their own, and continue bleeding. It would eventually be lethal.
♥ Once and in cases of Doris losing her hands they can be re-attached back in their place by simply placing the hands against the wrists in the circus area. The hands heal quickly once this is done. If the Eelektross loses a hand somehow - as it's off her arm - the wound would still heal inside the circus but she cannot regrow a hand.

    Doris is a very social and communicative person. She usually starts the conversation, and on the outside she's very pleasant company. She likes casual compliments, wide smiles and laughter. On the inside the Eelektross is lonely and she loves human contact more than anything. She likes everyone upon the first meeting but for Doris it's quality over quantity. While she enjoys small talk and greeting her fellow circus workers what she truly wants is someone to care for. Doris is quite secretive unless she sees you as her friend.  She won't share personal things to just anyone. Once she sees you as an associate she's forthcoming and generous. Everything that's hers is yours, too. (Random gifts from her aren't rare.) While she's open with friends she leaves out anything that could get her in trouble. She has an optimistic and easygoing world view, and she believes things can and will go well. Yet the woman is quite full of herself. She has a sense of entitlement and an inability to take other's perspectives into consideration. She doesn't do empathy very well but she works better with sympathy. Though part of Doris' high attitude is intentional. She acts "higher" to cope with the biphobic feelings she has towards herself: she tries to hide the disgusting truth under something she enjoys being more - whether it makes her ruder or not.

    But it's not all good to be friends with the woman. She has only two kinds of friends: those who she likes having around, and those who're allowed to breathe only around her. The first type can evolve into the second one, but the second rarely descends to the first. Doris seeing you as a friend is not a good sign - she wants only you; she wants you to want only her. She's clingy and wants total control over you. She'll get upset if you hang out with other people - she feels all the love she poured onto you was for nothing. The Eelektross' entitlement shows here too: she believes she can get away with anything because she is your friend, after all. Doris doesn't feel embarrassment or discomfort about the things she does or says. If it seems good and she's in control she's ready to be a bit weird. In her relationships she generally prefers women. Men are simply boy toys you get gifts from. She won't deny her friendship from anyone (the more, the better) but she will share less of her emotions and thoughts to men.

    While it's easy to be Doris' friend, you can fall out of her good graces just as fast as you get in. And it's quite simple: the Eelektross' expectations are unrealistically high and when you don't meet her standards, she turns her back on you. While she keeps getting disappointed time after time she hasn't even considered the problem might be in her, not everyone else. If you try to intentionally screw her over you fall out of her good graces the same way - but louder. She does whatever needed to turn it against you. Verbal attacks she pushes aside, ignores what you say. Getting physical with her is personal and she won't stand it. She hates being touched (but willingly touches you to get you on her side, for example) and starting a fight greatly annoys her. She'll quickly bring attention to the situation, and in the best cases the circus security. The bigger problems you get into, the better. In the end, she'll remember it. She'll write your name in her diary and holds the grudge till grave - hers or yours. If lied to it's certain Doris won't trust you again.

    With work Doris gives it her all and works hard. She likes holding all the string in her hands and it shows as bossy attitude. The freedom she's given in circus - own show, own ticket prices, you name it - gives her great joy and she wouldn't change it for anything. If she has to work with others she wants to be the leader: she enjoys being the most important person in the room. Whether it's people or general every day things, Doris wants to rule it. She's very ambitious and persistent. She aims high and wants to reach it. She's independent and adaptable. She knows (or believes) she can do whatever needed, and if not, she'll just find a way to solve the problem. The Eelektross is determined to figure out how to deal with her problems herself. She gives them time and now trusts careful approach more than hasty panic. Doris' has done her mistakes when hurrying and she doesn't want to repeat the past. She offers the patience to others, as well. The woman can wait for you and is not quick to anger. It also gives her a nicer image - nobody likes an impatient 'mon, right?

TL;DR: After Doris' parents died her aunt took her in. The aunt's children didn't like the girl, she didn't like them: she found better friends elsewhere. Doris dropped out of school to work and the aunt's husband kicked her out of the house. She worked and spent her free time socializing. During this time she had a tight hold on Karoline Vinter, her childhood friend, and it began to choke her. She needed some space and Doris was willing to give her none. The woman's obsession reached its peak and Karoline objected. This lead to an argument, and the argument to the death of Karoline.

    Doris' parents died in a rail accident when she was 6 and her aunt Amanda took her in. The aunt loved Doris as much her own children, but the cousins didn't like each other. The Tynamo missed her parents and projected her attention needs at the aunt and her husband. The aunt felt bad for Doris and spoiled her. After a year of privileges, Amanda believed Doris felt at home and began loving her kin, too. The Tynamo didn't like it. No special attention made her needy and she started taking other kids' things - simply because she wanted to. If anyone objected her thieving she broke what she had taken, making sure no one had it again.

    The older cousins, Cecil and Isaac, turned against Doris. The youngest Francis followed the example. They attacked the Tynamo at school - but the plan died soon. Whatever the cousins did, Doris told about it at home. The cousins retreated, leaving Doris completely alone. This brought up another person: Karoline Vinter, an Illumise girl, eight years old like Doris was at the time. She had seen how the Tynamo had been bullied, and now wanted to be her friend. After the first friend Doris noticed how easy it was to talk to other people. She hadn't needed others - she had had her family this far. Karoline wasn't as social as Doris but she followed her wherever or to whomever she ever went. Karoline became Doris' dearest friend.

    Reaching her mid-teens Doris' friends began moving to work life. School was a luxury she didn't want anymore; she'd rather work like her friends. Llewellyn, the aunt's husband, was against this decision: he had told Doris to study and she had nerve to deny him. It turned into a big argument between the husband, and eventually the aunt too, and Doris. With Karoline's emotional support she managed. The Tynamo started believing men were ready to push you down, and some women would offer their help instead. She chose her friends carefully; Doris kept men interested but didn't let them too close.

    Once Doris found a job and started skipping school to work Llewellyn made the decision to kick her out of his house - since he wasn't respected, he wouldn't respect Doris either. Her situation didn't give her a good job and so she worked as a housemaid. With the job she got a place to stay - the household she worked for offered housing for their workers. Doris worked with the same family for years. When she had only began Karoline followed the Tynamo's example. The Illumise changed schools, wanting to become a nurse. Doris gave her as much as Karoline had done for her, and with the friend's support Doris let the relationship with her family quiet down, eventually to a complete silence.

    Doris turned 20, she evolved into an Eelektrik, her job was stable and she was content. She had a handful of boyfriends but most of them turned out to be much like Llewellyn. She hoped they would turn out better than the uncle in her eyes, but she proved herself wrong. Karoline suggested they could both save up some money and buy her a Thunder stone. This made Doris project her care for Karoline even more. The Illumise had graduated and began working. She got more friends from school and work. She slowly warmed up to people besides Doris, to which the Eelektrik gave a cold shoulder. Karoline had always had her - she didn't need other friends. Doris pushed everyone out with any means necessary: anonymous scary notes worked on most. But these people just kept coming. The Eelektrik abandoned her own free time to use it to hover over Karoline.

    Doris had given Karoline most of her attention before, and now she doubled it. It took the Illumise a couple of months to notice it. She asked Doris to calm down, she didn't need to look after her. The Eelektrik denied. Karoline said it was strange, she didn't want others to think ill of Doris. She feared others would see Doris as a stalker; what Doris understood was Karoline saw her as a homosexual.

    The Eelektrik had to retreat. She saw Karoline in the same light as some of her ex-boyfriends and she knew how wrong it was. Did the Illumise find her as disgusting as she did now? Karoline had always been dear to Doris but now it felt wrong. Karoline worried: it wasn't like Doris to disappear from her life like this. When the two talked again Doris apologized. She begged for forgiveness. The Illumise forgave her in a heartbeat. She didn't see Doris as a homosexual but a bit too obsessed with her. The relief encouraged Doris. She feared to stay close to Karoline at all times, watching her from shadows instead. Her attention was completely on the Illumise.

    Slowly Doris had saved enough money for a Thunder stone, evolving a little before she turned 21. She was still in control of Karoline's relationships, and she now knew it. The Illumise met people when Doris was busy with work. Whoever she met regularly Doris found out about and chased out. At first Karoline feared it was her but when Doris spoke of people and things she wasn't supposed to know of - several times - the Illumise realized the truth. The Eelektross made everyone else leave but one man, a Venomoth named Otto Bailey. All of Doris' anonymous threats didn't stop Otto from dating Karoline but she kept trying. Doris asked Karoline personally to leave him. Instead of breaking up, the Illumise met her boyfriend in the man's hometown, the neighbour Dendemille.

    Doris was hurt deeply. She started following Karoline everywhere, even skipped her job to keep up with her. Doris came to Karoline with questions after the Illumise saw Otto, no matter how innocent it had been. Karoline realized Doris stalked her more than before. She was uncomfortable and helpless. Meanwhile Doris was cornered by her employer - if her unexplained absences continued she would be fired. The Eelektross tried to juggle the work and Karoline but the further it went, the more assured Doris' dismissal was.

    Within months Karoline was too scared to do anything. She couldn't hate Doris but the Illumise wanted her out of her life. She'd talk to the Eelektross before she did anything worse. Karoline approached Doris, asking to speak in private. The Illumise asked Doris to come to her house - she lived with roommates but Karoline planned the meeting so she would be alone with Doris to keep the Eelektross from getting any more agitated. Karoline stated she wouldn't be able to see Doris anymore and the woman, once more hurt, refused. It hadn't been a week since she had gotten fired and now this! Doris' emotions lead her. If she couldn't have Karoline, no one else could either.

    The argument became physical once Doris grabbed a knife and Karoline let out a scream. The Eelektross stabbed Karoline where it mattered and her voice died with her.

    And now Doris was alone. Heartbroken she left the apartment behind, ran outside, ran to the biggest group of people she found to hide - this being a circus crowd. If a neighbour didn't call the police, Karoline's roommates would when they arrived home. The Eelektross had no choice but to leave.

    She looked around, ready to leave the mass of people when a Darkrai approached her. He saw her clear distress, asked why she felt so sad in a place like this, a circus. Doris told him she was busy. He answered: "Anything I can help you with?" The Eelektross denied. "I just wish I could keep my hands off of women." The Darkrai told her it could be done.

    Doris didn't think much of it, excused herself, left. Not much after she had gotten out of the circus area she bumped into someone - a woman, which she didn't realize till later - and the wish took its toll. Her hands fell and the woman didn't have time to think what or why. The other person's scream scared Doris more than her arms falling due to the shock. The Eelektross picked the hands up with what was left of her arms in panic, and took cover in the first empty corner she found. The blood made her fear the police would notice her, be suspicious of her. Trying to think it through Doris remembered the Darkrai. She had been tricked into this. She didn't wait long to return to the scene - as the bleeding continued - but she found the Darkrai, luckily alone behind a tent. When Doris started blaming him, he became amused: he welcomed her to the circus, telling everything should go back to normal soon.

    As the man had promised, Doris' hands returned to normal within moments and she learnt about her new workplace. Even if she could've refused, the circus was the best place to hide from the police for her.

    the police: The fear is directly connected to Doris' history. She fears getting caught and ending up in a prison. Just seeing a police makes her nervous, but she does her best to hide it. She hasn't done anything wrong, has she? (She has and that's why she's afraid-)
    needles (sewing & medical): An irrational fear. Doris cannot explain what exactly freaks her out with needles but the idea of being stung by one is extremely uncomfortable to her. She won't sew and she won't get close to needles. She's the type who might just faint when getting a shot from a doctor.

♥ Used her aunt's surname as her own after being adopted into the family but took her parents' name back once she joined the circus. She didn't want people to recognize her name, after all.
♥ While it's been years since Doris murdered Karoline she hasn't let go of it. She has forgiven herself - arguing that the Eelektross was in the right in the situation and there was no other option for either of them, but the regret still lies within her. Karoline was priceless to her and losing the Illumise was worth nothing; Doris still misses her dearly.
♥ Doris' bisexuality comes with a male preference. Where she finds women attractive and calls them beautiful she still believes this side of her is disgusting and unacceptable. If someone jokes or hints she likes women more than aesthetically she will quickly bite back.
