Trystin was a simple blacksmith from tiernian origin who fell in love with her mage mother. A humble and kind man who loved his family and protected her with his heart and soul. His remaining is unknown after they got attacked by Ersi's half-brother Elvir. While Chris presumes he's dead, Ersi still hopes he survived and she might find him back one day.

Ersi's mother who came from pure western origin and was a master of elemental magic. To the shock of her family she fell in love with a human and gave birth to his child. Eirlys fled with both her newborn daughter and her lover back to his home in order to escape the rage of the family. She was a loving and very devoted mother who gave her stepson as much love as her daughter and always treated them equally it. Eirlys got murdered by her own son in order to cleanse her name from the taint she brought over herself.

Elvir was the firstborn son on Ersi's mother with a purebreed western mage. To cleanse the name of his mother he was forced to come after her and killed her like it was custom in the West Realm. Even though she might never forget how he slit their mother's throat before her eyes she learned to love and trust him after he took the danger of being killed at any moment upon him to save her life. Elvir might sometimes be a bit distant but she knows he loves her like only a brother could.

Chris Valeskas

Older brother through father. Resident in Aldaria. Alive.
Chris is five years older than Ersi and according to her, her favorite and best big brother ever. He saved her the day her mother died by pulling her on a horse and flee. Chris is that type of guy you can always count on and who would fight for things and people dear to him. He joined the court of Aldaria as a guardsman and often sends her letters or small gifts.

Without even knowing of the existence of such a bond at all Ersi choose André as her lord and feels herself highly attracted by him.
Sometimes she has the feeling she can feel what André feels but she usually shoves it onto her sensitive nature than on anything that can be magical. She explains the attraction as some kind of daughter-father feelings as André reminds her a lot on her father who she misses so much.

Kaydena Licharzo (Ex-crownprincess of the lost Kingdom of Mulonira)

To Ersi she's definately a mother figure even tough she's nothing like Ersi's mother was. Ersi tries her best to make Kaydena proud on her even though she doesn't need to. The powers Kaydena has and her ability to speak to dragons fascinates the young girl, often leaving her with the wish to be one day as magically gifted as Kaydena is.

Aramis (Shin Taig)

Aramis is extremely dear and important to Ersi. To her he's like a soulmate and bonded she would never ever let down regardless what might come. Even tough he's a hundred times more powerful than she will ever be she tries to learn more about magic in order to be able to protect her Fae friend if she should ever need to.
Ersi enjoys the time she can spend with Aramis, especially the rides on their fawnling friends and afternoon naps in the fields.

Leonor Tarwyn (Magicless ? Elyssian Man)

Ersi really likes Leonor and his behavior towards her does not bother her that much. Living in Elyssa for a while during her flight she understands why he acts that way and tries her best to not accidently scare him. Ersi loves spending time with him taking care of the unicorns or just listen while he's singing. Deep inside it makes her terribly sad to see how broken he is and she can not understand why women can be that cruel to men who aren't even able to defend themselves.

Leander Tarwyn (Elyssian Shadowbender)

Ersi's unsure about how to really treat the little boy. She does like him and finds him quiet cute but she doesn't really know what to do with him since he's so young. She tries to learn how to deal with little siblings by observing Aramis interacting with Leander but it's difficult for her to simply reproduce what she saw. Even though she's not the most gifted with handling Leander she's fascinated by the rare magic he can perform.

History:

Ersi was born to a Western mage and a human man in the far away United Republics of Tierney.
Her father was a simple blacksmith and so she grew up in a small town near the border. Her early childhood was peacefully and happy, filled with spending time in the fields or helping her mother or father doing little works. Seeing how powerful her mother was Ersi dreamed of one day becoming as powerful as she was, not knowing that this was impossible due to her not being a pure mage.

At the age of ten Ersi's life has been turned upside down when her unknown half-brother named Elvir appeared and killed her mother. She can't remember where he came from but he was suddenly there and slit her mother's throat before she could even react. Being after her as well her father picked up a fight with the young mage borrowing time for Chris and her to flee.
It was since that day that Ersi and her half-brother Chris traveled the lands from town to town to make sure Elvir will loose track of them. From Tierney to Elyssa and from there to Aldaria where they stood for almost a year. It was in Aldaria that Chris decided Ersi should continue traveling to Eurion on her own, hoping Elvir would not find her there and knowing she would be better protected there in case he should. With a heavy heart she left her brother behind and continued her journey until she reached Eurion border and asked for refuge.

It was André who she met first and felt immediately bonded to him for reasons she can not explain or even describe but it was a reason for her to join the stable staff and becoming a member of this little family.

Due to her weakened blood Ersi isn't able to perform magic on the same level a purebreed Western mage could. Her powers are limited to a certain level she can't pass. Ersi inherited the blood bound affinity to learn elemental magic from her mother and once fully trained she will be able to bend fire, water, wind and earth to her will on a certain degree at least.

summoning a ball of fire, starting small fires (like a candle for example), manipulating an existing flame (moving/shaping it)
growing small plants, creating small cracks in stones, feeling if plants are sick
summoning a small ball of water, moving existing water, freezing existing water (a small puddle for example), feeling water sources (with enough training)
Summoning a breeze and manipulating existing wind (slightly slowing it down or speeding it up)

Once trained in it Ersi might be able to combine two elements in one spell.

- Healing magic

After her magical current had been cleansed Ersi had to chose between on of the gifts she had been given and her choice fell upon the healer gift.
She still need to train this talent a lot but learns quickly. She's currently looking for a mentor who can help her but since mages (especially healers) are pretty hard to find in Eurion and the surrounding mortal kingdoms it will probably a long and tiresome search. In the meantime books will do it too and Noelle's and Elvir's lessons in herblore.

Weapons:

A silver dagger, she got from Chris.
Elvir enchanted the weapon so that she could inflict magical wounds on magical beings if she might get attacked by another mage while he's not there to protect her.

Accessory:

Two small ear rings and an amethyst braclet.
Tools that help her to channalize her magic better. Even though the healing gift is a non-destructing magic form accidental overuse or outbursts could cause her harm so Elvir gifted her those to protect her and help her dealing with her new gift.
