*looks at date* WOWY THIS IS LATE!!! So... yeah, as you all know, lots has been happening for me lately, and that is actually a good thing because pretty much all of it has been good <3 Sadly, that means I have less time and energy to devote to my lovely babies on here, but I need to get this boy up so that I can have adventures with him when I have the time and in my head all the other times. A huge thank you to Dream-Lark for letting me have Xera's baby this season. I have wanted an in-born Blackwood baby like Kyren for some time and that dream finally came true. Also, thank you to DodgerMD for an amazing father! I hope to have many great roleplays with you both in the future <3 For now, here's to my little baby boy, Kyren! The sun had just begun it's slow decent down from it's peak of the sky, at least, what little could be seen of it. Kyren is an innocent little baby... for the most part. However, it seems that he has quite the obsession with dead things. Born adept in necromancy, he has always been a little odd and a little creepy, loving to summon spirits and act like he can place them into bodies, even though he hasn't learned possession yet. This has given him an interest in corpses as well as spirits and nothing excites him more than finding a fresh, or... not so fresh, body to examine. Despite his oddities, Ky is sweet at heart and loves to cuddle in all things soft, fuzzy, and warm; namely his mama and any pelts that he is lucky enough to posses. That is of course, only when the little one settles down, otherwise, he would rather be adventuring and discovering more secrets about his world and his herd, a trait that will give him important knowledge for surviving in the harsh reality that is Blackwood. Finally, the colt can be a little bit indignant. He likes to think that he knows it all and that he is the best at everything that he does, he can get upset when others suggest otherwise. Hopefully he will grow out of this and realize that he can learn from more fawnlings than just his mama without having to feel a sense of indignant irritation.

Anatomy
Still lanky like a fawn, it is already becoming obvious that this little one will have quite the strength behind him when he is older. His build is growing more muscular with every passing moon and every passing adventure. How far his build goes will likely depend on how good his diet is after he is weaned from his mother. His fur is course, thick and rough and his mane is similar, still being short with his youth and having the tenancy to stick up everywhere. His tail has sparse long fur on the end that is softer than the rest of the fur on his body but still not silky by any means. He also has rather large ears, but he will probably grow into those.

History

In the winter of 763, Xera, a strong warrior doe, made an important decision. She decided that she would grace the herd with a fawn in the coming seasons, and she decided that the strong and worthy stag who would be the colt's father was Hagen, a well known witch of Blackwood. The encounter was entirely business oriented, and two seasons later, a black little dappled colt was born. His first few days, he seemed weak and collicky, but soon, he would prove that he was strong. In his later few weeks of life, he grew strong in body and was bounding around, he also showed other talent as well, in magic. Xera wasn't sure about this at first, but it soon became obvious that the little colt was proficient - adept - in necromancy. He would talk to spirits that Xera couldn't see, but knowing that necromancy ran in his blood, she assumed that he wasn't crazy, and instead, was already tapping into his magic. Soon, she deemed him strong and worthy enough, even though he wasn't quite a year of age. She named him Kyren. (Is this alright Dream-Lark ?) And his constant antics meant that the name would almost never die from her lips.
