Story
Victoria stood next to Rosalie who was setting up Mojo's show cage, as she herself set up her own cats show cage. Why had she agreed to enter Fudge in a show she questioned herself as she stroked the top of Fudge's head ready to say goodbye to her to let the judging commence. 

"She'll be fine" Rosalie reassured Victoria.

"I know, i just worry about taking her away from home. Even though she settled in well at the yard, i feel weird taking her to a show" Victoria sighed. 

Rosalie placed a hand on Victoria's shoulder and motioned for them to go to get a hot chocolate and try to relax. Both cats were happily sitting in their cages which were covered with a pink and blue patterned fabric. The two stratching posts positioned on either end of the show table held a sign hung between them, which displayed the station number.
The arena was large and beautiful. Light flooded in from behind the red velvet backdrop curtain, and the row of cages on the tables at the back were filled with cats of all breeds. The weather outside was rainy during the morning but had let up a little by the time the judging was due to begin.

The two cats were flawlessly groomed to almost perfection, and having had a bath the night before, they were as clean as they would be for another few months. Fudge had settled down after a final grooming from Victoria before she left with Rosalie to get a drink before judging would start. Victoria begun to realise that she might have been over reacting a little, and if she's so nervous, that might influence Fudge's mood, and alter her show score. Victoria relaxed a little more, taking a few deep breaths and nursing her hot drink as she waited for the start of the judging to be anounced, since she would want to be there, watching her cat being judged. 

Soon enough, the judging was taking place, and Victoria took a seat on the front row of the audience section. The judge had just put Mojo back in his cage after being judged while Victoria peeked at Rosalie who was smiling happily, not a care in the world at this point. She turned back to the table, where the judge was lifting Fudge out of her cage and placed her on the show table. He announced Fudge's show name and number and begun. He checked her eyes, ears, mouth, and teeth as she stood, happily accepting the attention being given to her. He stroked her long, silky coat and assessed her colours before judging her conformation compared to the show standard. He picked Fudge up and placed her back in to her cage before writing down his score and notes on her score card, proceeding to judge the remaining cats.  

Victoria sighed with relief as she looked to Rosalie and smiled. 

"That wasn't too bad" she said, as they waited for the cat show results.

TIL i can't draw velvet. No matter now many times i tried to get it right, i just couldn't. So i had to settle for the red blob in the background. 
Also remind me never to draw another background again if it involves anything other than bushes and grass. _{I complain too much. I did have fun creating the background to be honest, it just took forever D:}
Long-haired cats are amazing to colour since i can use the same colouring style i use on horse manes and tails
