Appearance details: A tubby and stout silver tabby she-cat with white socks and a white moon-like marking on her chest. Due to an untreated eye infection at a young age, her eyes are in a permanent squint. Her sight however, is barely affected other than a build up of gunk on her eyes regularly.



History

Palekit was born at the beginning of a journey that would change the lives of those around her forever. The runt of a litter of five meant that this trip would only be harder for not only her, but also her siblings and her parents. The rest of her siblings were handful enough, and she never blamed her mother for paying more attention to them than her. She didn't have time to, she spent most of her time just trying to keep up. When her eyes started bugging her, she did her best to keep it to herself. She could see how the whole clan, let alone her parents were busy, stressed, and overworked. Her infection grew only worse, and it wasn't until the young medicine cat; Thistlepaw caught her trying to wash them out did she finally get the treatment she needed. That treatment arrived not a moment too soon, if left for a few more days she could have lost her sight completely. Due to the severity of her condition, she ended up spending the majority of the journey practically attached to the medicine cat by the hip. The medicine cat was able to save most of Palekit's vision, but there were some very obvious symptoms that were just too far gone. Palekit did her best to be the ears and paws for her superiors, helping out the medicine cat with anything she could, gathering herbs and keeping an eye out for the older cats. She was happy to be spending time with them rather than bothering her parents. She kept this up until finally the clans finally made it to the new territories. It was not long after that she received her apprentice name, and it was much to her surprise that she would be the one taking on the role of apprentice to Thistlebreath.

After that, Palepaw started to thrive, making it a point to heighten her other senses to counteract her slight disadvantages. She began being known in the clan for being a particularly talkative member, and specifically found herself attached to her fellow apprentices, and made it a point to learn from (bother) the warriors, and learn everything she could to be a great medicine cat.

Playful-Palepaw is always happy to play. Though some would pass it off as simply a matter of age, what it truly comes down to is her lighthearted view of life, and even when things are bad, she does her best to keep moods light and fun.

Friendly- Palepaw has the uncanny ability to make friends even with the gruffest of cats. Whether it’s her infectious smile or wonderful (terrible) jokes.

Intuitive- While some would argue that Palepaw is far from a bright pupil, she more than makes up with gut instinct. When she senses something, it’s usually a good idea to follow her lead.

Awkward- While Palepaw can be charismatic in certain ways, more often than not she’s probably messed up quite a few times and stumbled all over the thing she’s trying to get her point across.

Easily impressed- It doesn’t take much to get Palepaw’sattention. Properly and efficiently catching a particularly fast hare would be enough to gain her awe.

Chummy- Palepaw is happy to make friends with any cat she crosses path with. It doesn’t matter what clan or their position is, she would be more than glad to make them smile.

Brash- Palepaw relies on her previously mentions instincts a bit too much, and even on the slightest hunch she’s quick to jump to those actions. This obviously works against her in obvious ways.

Airy- Palepaw is a bit of an airhead. She gets distracted easily, and can find it quite hard to focus on anything she isn’t particularly interested in.

Naïve-Palepaw tries to believe in the good with everybody she meets. Even those who have already burnt her once. She’s much too forgiving and cats are quick to take advantage of such a point.

Roleplay
Cats were everywhere. This was the only real chance the clans had opportunity to mingle, and mingle they did. It was nice to see that for once each was keeping their prejudice behind them. Meetings were still very new for Bloodclan, and Echomist could see that she was not the only Bloodclan cat caught off guard. She watched carefully as her apprentice hesitantly ran off to play with a chorus of others. Fluffing out her fur, she strutted her own way into the opening. The large rocks in the centre were clearly where the leaders would go, as she could see Jasperstar already anxiously pacing between the other leaders. Echomist seemed to be the only one who didn't have some cat to run off with. This was unusual, and she couldn't exactly say she enjoyed it.
