I cut the lion out, and then I cut out the skull. I put them together, rotating and scaling it around. Then I smudged the mane until I was happy and smudged the rest of the lion, too. I had to change the layer mode on the skull and add a mask to get it just right. After all that was done and I was happy, I added the lion to the background. I changed the color balance to make it more fiery.

I saw an article a while ago about the lions in Africa. That there are people that raise them from cubs, get them used to people, almost domestic. Then they put pictures of them on line so people can stake a claim on them. Basically, when the lions mature, the people that claimed them get to go out to the enclosure. By this time, the lions have been starved for a few days. Since they're hungry, when they see the people with food on the truck, they run toward them, hoping for a meal. Instead they are shot several times, until they are dead. It takes more than one shot to kill a lion.

Now, I'm not 100% sure that this happens, but I have to say I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. If you want to discuss this, feel free in the comments, but if you're disrespectful to me or anyone, your comment will be deleted.
