Well, this was supposed to happen at 350 watchers, but I've been too busy to put this together, so what better time than 500+ watchers? Last time I put together the Mama Snake contest, where you guys just drew Mama Snake, but this time all of my characters are fair game, and so are yours!

Theme: Draw my OC's and your own in one awesome picture or comic strip. 

     The contest has ended!      

Q: But, Crazy Snake Lady, what if I don't have any OC's?
A: If you don't have any original characters of your own, you can can still participate by drawing at least two of my characters interacting  Try to be creative. A straightforward portrait of my characters isn't going to win this. 

Q: Does it have to be digital?
A: Nope. It can be traditional, digital, 3-D. You can even cosplay the crap out of our characters with a buddy (prizes would only go to one person though)

Q: Can I submit a mini-comic with our characters?
A: Of course! That would be awesome to see  

Q: Can I draw our characters in my own original universe?
A: Yes!

I thought this would be a fun idea and a way for my lovely watchers to participate and get their own characters seen by more people.

Below I've included a brief description of each character and a summoning playlist! I put together playlists of songs on youtube that I felt fit each character. Play them in the background while you draw to summon the spirit of each character  I will be adding onto them regularly.

 Mama Snake  

Playlist Bluesy, country rock. Johnny Cash, Clutch, and some Imagine Dragons thrown in for some of the lyrics. 

Mama Snake is a slightly crazed root doctor that prefers to handle certain problems with her axe rather than dark magic. After losing her mother to a hurricane in Tupelo, Mama Snake wandered the streets for a few years, eventually buying baby Copper from a merchant. She started a small group of nomadic entrepreneurs with Jericho when they were in their late teens/early twenties. They made their own wagons and modified vehicles for traveling around the Pangaea of Cecropia and selling their wares/services. Mama Snake offers her services as a root doctor to help people with hexes, hauntings, and spiritually caused ailments. She cares deeply for the friends she's picked up along the way and will defend them with her life if need be. She's no strangers to cuts and bruises and has a habit of getting into trouble whenever Jericho's around.

 Jericho  

Playlist A mix of rockin' music that seems to describe him.

A mercenary with a dark sense of humor and a knack for getting into trouble. He's known Mama Snake longer than Monty and Rael and has a strong bond with her. Mama Snake and Jericho aren't afraid of knocking each other around if the other one gets out of line. They work together to keep things moving and keep the group safe. Jericho is practiced in a variety of weapons but prefers a gun as his main weapon when on a contract. His relationship with Tusque apparently ended on bad terms before he met Mama Snake. The two can hardly be around each other without Tusque trying to kill Jericho. Rorin is the last of the group to join, but Jericho quickly connects with her laid back charm.

 Rael  

Playlist Fun, upbeat music leaning towards more feminine themes.

Rael makes beauty and health items from the herbs he grows and collects. He is very knowledgeable about plants and their uses, but very naive when it comes to interacting with people that may take advantage of him. An optimist and light-hearted spirit, Rael makes friends easily and would rather be a lover than a fighter. He grew up an orphan, but met Monty in his early teens. Mama Snake and Jericho showed up in their lives later and together they all started new lives. Rael shares a strong bond with Monty that borders on the romantic. He looks up to Mama Snake and Monty as strong figures in his life, but self-doubt stands in the way of his progress with sword fighting.
 

 Monty  

Playlist Intense, dramatic music. Calming and serene music. Ethereal sounds. 

Blacksmith and what Mama Snake likes to call "the muscle" of the group. Monty makes a variety of weapons and sells them in the towns they pass through. A perpetual worrywart when it comes to looking after other members of the group, Monty is usually the voice of reason. Despite being the voice of reason, Mama Snake's stubborn nature sometimes keeps her from taking advice from him. He grew up in the desert city of Acacia, but came to know Rael when he left the city to find new places to sell his weapons. He's a hard worker, but will gladly take make time to play a game with his friends. While he is quite skilled with a sword, and even trained Mama Snake how to use one, he prefers the peaceful route if it can be taken.

 Rorin  

Playlist Fast paced electronic music. Pendulum, prodigy.

The group picked up Rorin in the city of Linden. She's quick witted and sarcastic and quickly finds herself attracted to Jericho's thirst for trouble. She has a vast knowledge of mechanics and spends a lot of time working on new inventions and modifications. Growing up in a crowded, polluted city like Linden made her very street-wise and she knows how to talk or lie her way out of trouble. With Rorin not knowing much about fighting, Jericho takes it upon himself to teach her how to use a gun. While she settles into the group quickly, she still has a few secrets she would prefer to keep to herself.
 

 Tusque  

Playlist Moody, somewhat sad music. General pessimistic attitude. 

A hermit that lives in the swamps of Tupelo. Tusque is best described as a sage and has much knowledge of Cecropia's flora and fauna. He shut himself off from the rest of society after ending his friendship with Jericho. Being on his own has made him tougher, but also more hardened towards new people. He wears a permanent scowl and it can be assumed that he is silently judging you. Tusque uses an assortment of obisidan blades and darts to keep himself safe from unwanted guests. While being a difficult person to get to know, he and Mama Snake begin to form a friendship based around their similar beliefs and practices. 
 

Environment references

The world of Cecropia is very fuzzy in my mind right now. You could pretty much make any environment and it would fit with the characters somehow. There's urban cities, old world villages, desert cities, ruins, vast woods, etc. The caravans are also a work in progress, so don't worry about getting something wrong on them if you include them in your entry. Just use your imagination and fill in the gaps
