These are some commonly asked questions I get for you all to see

Q: Are marks (like the flame mark on the fire spirit) required?
A: YES! They help to tell the differences of the ink spirit, and yes they are required...

REQUIRED TRAITS PLUS THE MARKS:

Q: Do Ink spirits have babies? Are they eggs, or are they made from magic?
A: They have babies, and depending on the ink spirit, they can be egg, or give birth to live young.  Here is a list of who has eggs or who gives birth to live young:

Q: how big are clutch sizes? Do they know they're elemental when they are born, or does it develop over time? Or do newborns look blank?
A: They have one to two pups in a litter, it may vary more or less. Yes, they do know when they are born, however they do not come fully into their power until they are adults. They have notable characteristics when they are born like markings, (the fire ink for example has a flame mark on their forehead or the earth ink who has feelers) and they are darker in color and fluffier in color. More examples coming soon

Q: What do Ink Spirits eat?
A: they eat small rodents and bugs, lots of bugs

Q: do you do customs?
A: Yes I do! They cost 20 points, note me and tell me the colors you want. You can get one rare trait for free.

Q: When is breeding season?
A: Ink spirits usually mate during the summer and winter. So let’s say for now the months February July,and December

Q: Awesome, but how do I pick a mate?
A: Ink spirits usually mate for life, however there of course are some exceptions. Find another ink spirit owned by yourself or someone else (so long as you get permission)

Q: Is inky a light or a non-elemental? (by the way, what should I call the plain, non-elemental ones?)
A: Tabula ink spirits.  It means blank spirit so they are like blank paper, they have no specific element.
I am not quite sure about inky, for now she is a light spirit.

Q: Are you going to post these stories to the group page?

Q: what kind of predators do they have? and do they live in the same world/ interact with lantern dragons?
A: yes they actually help lantern dragons out from time to time as for predators, well when they are young hawks and other such predators can get them if they catch them unaware and unprotected. as they grow older, some humans seek to kill them out of sport or for their power. Demons are another predator of theirs, and the main one.

Q:  I noticed there is no air/wind/storm element, or ice for that matter. Are you going to make some?
A:  I am going to add more elements but for now i want to keep it sort of simple, I have a plan that is kinda based off of Inky. She goes beyond her garden (daycare) walls and these are the ink spirits she meets in her terrority. as she goes farther north or south more shall be discovered (in order to do this, more members have to be in the group so get your friends to join)

Q: An adventure :3 isn't she missed from where she left though? XD
A: she wasn't treated very well and the only friend she had was Redice. Besides, ink spirits go missing all of the time.They probably just assumed she got eaten as they are apt to, since they are so young.

(There are two types of light ink spirits: The OLD generation and the NEW generation. The OLD generation thinks themselves superior and are not very nice and caring. They believe only the stongest can survive, and look down on those who wish for change. The NEW generation is nicer (like inky) most of the time. They are accepting of others and more caring.)

Q:  wow, sounds scary to be a INK spirit XD how does inky protect herself?
A: well, normally ink spirits travel in packs. these packs protect each other and especially the young who are not yet strong enough to fight off all prey. All ink spirits are super agile and quick, which is why a normal predator has to catch them unaware in order to kill them. They also have certain abilities like spewing knock out gas (in inky's case)

Q: cool! So does inky join a pack?
A: she sort of makes her own, which they can do sometimes, (just like wolves) but usually not so young. Redice (who i think i will change the name) is the first non light ink spirit she meets and he basically ends up joining with her and helping both them survive

Q:Where exactly in the world does Inky live (no need for an address though XD)? If you're still working on it, what are some ideas you have (for example, North America, Australia, etc.)? If not exact, can you give a more generalized location?
A: imma making it upXD for now let's say Canada's wilderness. The place she used to live at was a secluded villiage hidden in the pocket of the spirit world kinda like a sanctuary. Since ink spirits are well spirits they can travel between dimensions and between the mortal world and the spirit world. Since inky is so young, she cant travel as far, but she can go between the mortal and spirit world right now as for yours, Pick any place you want. Only certain people can see spirits though. does that help?

Q:  do spirits sleep?
A: spirits still need sleep. Inky, being so young has to sleep an average of eleven hours a day. As the ink spirits grow older, they need less and less time to sleep. By the time they are an adult, an ink spirit only needs an average of an hour a day (or more if they feel like it)

Q: How do you tell a ink spirit's age?
that's kinda of a hard one. Usually you can tell by the length.
