I calculated it, he would be 5. And whilst it would be hilarious to have the 5 years old rune mage kick everyone's butt, i sadly have to admit that that's not possible. Not possible due his own background. So it was time to create a new champion of Zenith. A new wind is blowing. A FEMALE CHAMPION!

Casting Skills:
-Animate: This skill came naturally to Jade when she was around 6 years old. Perhaps it was due her heritage , being a dark elf and living in an area famous for their magic imbued gemstones. Or perhaps it was due to her crafting small golems all the time? Perhaps a mix of both. Since an early mage she had managed to animate small clay figurines. With processing time, she managed to animate random gems, rocks, boulders, tree logs and even fully grown trees. her power was growing, just like her amount of mana, curiousity and size. And with time she was submited to the academy due this very skill. Now at the age of 15 she can easily animate 15 of soccer sized boulders, or create huge golems. By now the material doesn't matter at all. Whether it is a wall, a stone, a tree, a burning house. It doesn't matter.  She can even imbue it with her own earth sphere in order to make something tougher, or coat it in an armor made of minerals.

- Manipulation: The skill did not come to her on its own, but Jade learned this also quite swiftly. Her eagerness to create more and more 'friends' , gained her a swift growth of power and especially skill. With nimble fingers she creates figurines out of mudd and clay, but with her focus she creates wonders of art with magic alone. It takes more effort than creating a golem, but she is precise. She is knowledgabe due her life in the underground city and thus, unlike many oters she doens't randomly draw out earth. Instead she uses her limited power to draw out ores and minerals of varying capabalities in order to counter, what ever she is facing. 

Mage Skills:
- Weapon combative Mace (Pickaxe): Jade grew up in an underground city. Whilst it is a city known for tradeing with precious magic imbued gems, it is also often infested with pests, like Rust eater bugs and other annoying creatures. Jade learned from heir parents and neighbors how to use a pickaxe to dig out gems, but also to defend herself. Swinging it around like a mace is no problem for this young Elf. It may tire her out though.

-Ether Trails: A trial of broken gems that lay out in the sun! This is how she describes the ether trails. Each living being posesses these. It is the trail left behind by the very soul or life essence and differs in size, shape and color. It may even differ by who looks at these. The trial reminds jade of broken gems or stars.

-Sense Magic: The use of magic gives Jade a warm rush of goose bumps. She instantly knows magic was use and at the academy even learned to determine form where it was used. She is unable to determine the full range, but can say the direction.

Equipment: 

- Pickaxe: Jade carries aorund a pickaxe. It is her tool and chosen weapon, if she needs to bash someone's head in. She may be young and look fragile, but do not be mistaken. This elf knows how to dig tunnels and claim gems from earthen grounds. Digging through a skull is much easier by far!

- Vials of living fire: Whilst most use these for manipulation, some do wonder why an Earth Mage possesses these. Jade however lives in her own little world. She uses the vials to lighten areas or to decorate her creation. Who knows perhaps she will use these as grenades within combat ?

Personality:  Jade is desccribed as a very bright child. She is curious and smart. She is happy and draws peoples attention with ease and thus is able to create friendships. However, these are usually shallow. She knows that, she knows many talk behind her back, but if they are content with this then why not. Jade on her side, only wishes to create art and more 'friends', her golems. At times she has phases of creativity, which she can't ignore. During these she becomes a recluse. Hiding in her room she creates  whatever came to her mind. She becomes quiet and thoughtfull and only lets Grant into her room. On the battle grounds she is still bright, but calculating. Knowing her limits she uses her skills in the most creative but effective ways. If crushing all your bones is the best option, then so be it. She will do this with a smile. After all you can be fixed, no?

Bio: Jade Claysmith is no being with tragic past. She was born in the underground city Lapzaht. Lapzaht is a city inhabitated by both dwarves and dark elves and surprisingly enough they do well together. The striving city ,is a place known for trade and famous for their minerals and special gemstones, which are said to be imbued with raw magic. The mana of the earth itself.  

Jade was always a very bright and curious child, with a unique imagination. Every child has a phase of creating an imaginative friend, or to act like a doll is alive, but Jade did this with everything. She created figures out of stones, mudd and clay. Gave them names and took them to games with her friends. But as time progressed their  so called friends would find these 'imaginative friends' annoying. 

"If they are so great then why don't you make yourself some more!", it was a seemingly harmless dispute between kids. But in her innocence Jade heeded these words, locking herself in her room she would create more 'friends'. Her parents grew worried after the second day of their child refusing to eat and barged into her room, only to witness her talking to a small golem, which talked back to her, as if it was alive.

Her talent grew from this point on and their parents decided it would be the best to have her join the Academy of Zenith. So she would hone her skill, but also to find friends in her age, with her interests. But Jade only wanted to create art. She had figured out that using magic to put something together, was her calling. Her ideas would pile up and not let her go anymore. At first her parents would watch their daughter's growth. The magic has found its way to her when she was ten and grew from year to year. With this,  grew also the desire to create. What others saw as hard working and deep studies, was in fact just Jade pursuing her dream of creating art and even more 'friends'. This eagerness turned her more and more of a recluse and before she would turn into a shut in, they decided to have her join the Academy with the age of 15. Jace would pendel form home to zenith, visit her parents during the holidays and stay home, but recently the Academy had noticed her rapid grow.Therefore it was decided to have her live in one of the dorms. In the beginning, she had even found some friends at the academy, but this was until she had one of her creative streaks. They call it the 'rabbit hole phase'. In this phase the extroverted girl, hides in her room, locks it and only comes out when she is done. 

Almost all left her after the first 2-3 phases, all but Grant. The young water mage , a young stoical human, sticks to her. Brings her food and is even allowed into her rabbit hole. Even now he reminds her of reality and pulls her out of the phases. He was with her when she moved in the dorms. He listens to her talk and she to him and whilst their friendship appears distant to others, it is knit even tighter than one may see at the first glance. If someone asked him, he would state "Our relationship needs air to breath, else it can't blossom" And now that the tournament draws near, he helps her prepare. 3 years had passed, her growth was seemingly rapid, but will it be enough?Will her eagerness that had gotten her in the tournament, create more art? More power? Or will it be her downfall?

Additional Info: Jade is an extrovert, but actually only interacts with others so they don't bug her during the creative streaks. She only doesn't mind Grant, since he truly cares for her. For him she even crawls out of her hole. 

She fights in creative way, the pickaxe is a thing she uses in close range combat, but also when she is in need of saving up mana. Usually she will use a clever combination of manipulation and animate. And each of her golems will have names, look cute in a way and be precious to her. 

Animate has little limits, as long she can touch the thing she animates. Essential is that her mana touches the target. And this means her power cna be used in a very creative way. 

Grant is a tall and lanky water mage. Stubborn and stoical,proud and also kind. He can be as mysterious as the sea or gentle as a river. It depends on the situation and mood. Befriending JAde, was no big problem, it only started to with keeping her as friend. But Grant himself is quite fine with a bit air to breath. He knows when she needs him and she knows when he needs her. 

Grant is using a wheelxhair to maneuver the Academy, due vernal mages and runes, his wheelchair can actually move over the stairs and thus bring him anywhere. Jade was one of few to not belittle him. Instead she accepted him like he was. 'This is simply your current design' , she had stated with a smile and then continued with blabbering, that somehow amused him. At first it was simply that, but grew into more and more...
