Chapter 1

A few Odd days

I laid in my bathtub contemplating how life was the way it was. People with magical Powers that just awhile ago were dreams. I myself had these powers. There where people who can create other things, people who could change the makeup of their genes, and people who could change others gene make up. I myself fell into the category of creation, well more of changing matter into something else. I have the ability of creating water by pulling oxygen and Hydrogen from the air and forcing them together.

I smiled as I pulled the air around me into a swirl of water that seemed to stay suspended in the air. I also can force the matter so close together it resembles ice but functions like glass. I found my power quite amazing, yeah I am a bit narcissistic. Well my power was quite nice I could also manipulate the water which allows me to even stand on the glass like water and make it float to where I command. Though I have two problems with this power. I cannot control the water from past my arms reach so if i would want to fight with it I would have to use close combat. The other problem is that it puts strain on my hands so my hand is unusable after using the power for too long.

I found that these powers are amazing. Other then now a days it is not unique to have them, it is more unique to not have them. I didn't really care because my power itself is quite rare as well, I defy the original laws of physics. My mother and Father gave me such an amazing power because my Mother could create water from air and my father could move any object that is near him and even change the shape of the item.

I yawned and climbed out of my bathtub. I dried of by using my power to gather the water in my hand. I left a bit of water in my hair because it feels quite relaxing to keep my head cool. I changed into my school clothes and ran off to school, "Bye dad!" I yelled to my father. He smiled and waved me off in his apron, "Eat this!" He said tossing me my honey sandwich. I smiled running off, I leave home so early in the day because I was in the swim club and they couldn't get anytime after school.

When I arrived at the school I noticed that the swim club was already there, "Sorry I was late!" I said to the head of the club, "Yeah whatever" He said, "Just get in the pool your punishment is a 100 butterfly" He said. I groaned, "And no using your quirk to make you faster" He said. I smiled diving into the pool and swimming, 'Today they are going to hand out the fliers for the hero academy.' I thought as I rounded my second lap.

When I finished I got yelled at for not warming up and the rest of the morning went by quickly. My school was home to many kids who aspired to be villains for some strange reason and some already dropped out to become henchmen. I smiled skipping to class, the class went by quickly and kids got the flier for the date and the location of the entrance exam. It was a bit away, enough time for me to study and train. When the school day ended I ran off to town so I could buy some snacks and new swimming equipment.

Town was kind of boring until I saw the hero All Might soaring through the air with a young boy attached to him, "This is too interesting." I thought aloud creating a plat form of glass water and followed after and unseen as I could be. The scene was quite interesting, All Might turning into a scrawny male with strange facial features. He was still quite tall and as I watched from my hiding spot behind one of the chimneys I noticed blood coming from his mouth. He talked to the boy about himself and how the boy should give up on his dreams because he was quirk less.

I was well hidden until I sneezed drawing the attention of the two, "Hehe… BYE!" I used my water to speed off as quickly as possible scared of what would happen if All Might caught up to me. I dived down into an ally way and noticed that no one was following me, I sighed. I turned around to an awful scene, it was a large fire with a young boy getting over whelmed by some strange blob man. WIthout thinking I broke out running trying to help I gathered a small amount of water knowing I could not take down the monster but I could create a breathing way for the boy so he could have a bit more time for a better hero to come along. I looked around as I fought for a breathing way for the boy and noticed the heroes fighting the fire and not helping the boy. A huge crowd looked on not helping.

Without my knowledge I felt a strange substance wrapping around me engulfing my entire being, now I fought for my own breathing way, "Two perfect candidates for being my new being! Lets see who is best!" I heard the creature yell. I yelled for help until my breath way was over whelmed. I couldn't see anything any more my eyes shut closed focusing all my strength in my power, I gathered enough water to close off the area around us not allowing the fire to breath anymore, I noticed that the creature couldn't breath due to the lack of oxygen but this caused me to soon pass out.

When I woke back up I realized that the air around me was moving quickly as if someone was running. I opened my eyes and noticed the All Might was carrying me. Soon we came to a stop and I found that all might was chasing after that boy that I saw before. The two started to talk about how he had this power and he wanted to give it to him, "Can I leave now?" I asked. They both looked at me, "You saw me transforming and now know my secret, you are going to accompany me and this boy on his training regimen so you can get into the academy, it would be best if you are kept in the academy walls so the secret won't spread any more."

I sighed, "Damn it, this is what I get for being curious! Now where am I? How am I going to get home." I said not knowing other ways to react. I looked at the scrawny version of All Might, "You! You need to learn how to look around when speaking in private to someone! Your a FLIPPING HERO! There must be villains out to get you! Im most defiantly not the only person in the world that knows your secret even though you didn't tell me." I vented my frustrations out on him. I turned around, "I will meet you with this boy, just learn to be more careful Symbol of Peace." I said recognizing some of the signs around me.

I began to walk away until I felt the boy grab onto my arm, "My name is Izuku! What is your name?" I heard the excited boy tell me. I laughed at his optimism which dispelled all my negative feelings, "My name is (Y/n), I look forward to working with you Izuku." I said continuing my walk. He followed after happily. I dropped him off at his house and then went to mine.

"Sorry dad, I was out with a friend." I said as soon as I opened my door. No reply came. I looked around and found no trace of my father in the house. I called his cell phone but after one ring it hung up and went straight to voice mail, "Strange" I said aloud, 'His phone must have died' I thought to myself. I noticed a note on the kitchen table, 'Sorry (y/n) I am out doing some business at the office. I will see you in a week' The note read. I laughed, "Damn those heroes working their side kicks to the bones."

I was proud of my father having such a heroic job but sometimes it gets lonely. I went to my room changing into my Pj's. Since it was the weekend I didn't have to worry about waking up early but I still liked sleeping early.

The next day I walked around the house in my Pj's and made myself a nice breakfast with eggs bacon and some rice, "I could have just rice for the rest of my life." I said rubbing the bowl against my face. As I ate the food I noticed that the food under my fork started to disappear. I looked at my plate sleepily and noticed a different fork picking up the food. I looked up and noticed that the Scrawny All Might sitting at the table taking my food. I looked on sleepily, "I must be dreaming." I said as I walked to the bathroom. I jumped into the Tub and allowed the water to run over my body. It was at that moment I realized I was awake.

I wrapped my robe around me not even bothering to take the water off my body. I looked out of the bathroom and saw The scrawny tall man watching the tv and eating my rice. I ran out and grabbed the bowl from his hand, "ANYTHING BUT THE RICE!" I yelled out sitting down at the table not caring that water was dripping everywhere, "Why are you at my house All Might?" I asked. He just stood up and shuffled to the table sitting down, "Well I want to make sure you are not going to tell anyone about my secret. I trust the other boy but I know nothing about you." He said making a bowl of rice for himself. 

I sighed, "How bout I tell you about myself to dispel your theories?" I asked. He just nodded. I sighed setting down my empty bowl of rice, "Where do I start… Well I have the ability to manipulate water and create it from smashing the molecules together." I said pulling the water off my body and balling it in my hand, "I can only keep it a certain distance from my body so you don't have to worry about me attacking you." I stood up and pour the water down the sink drain, "My father is a hero side kick, though he rarely goes out on the field he is usually just doing paper work." I sat back down at the table, "My mother died a while back and such, I don't have any real friends to hang out with I only socialize with the swim club and it usually just talking about competitions. I also don't have any social media so I can't share your name there, sometimes I do post stories but they are just that stories." I said opening the front door, "You know enough about me now, please leave, I only really want to see you at the practices." I said.

He stood up but instead of leaving he sat down on the couch, "Give me a break I already did my limit for hero work on my way here and I am exhausted." He said. I just looked at him and then out of no where he coughed up a fountain of blood, "AHHHHH! DONT GET IT ON THE COUCH!" I screamed laying down a towel, "That is the first thing you say!?" He yelled from his position on the couch. I sighed walking away, "Where are you going?" He asked. I just looked at him as if it were obvious, "I am going to go change" I said.

'I can't believe the Symbol Of Peace is such a weirdo' I thought to myself changing in the bathroom. When I walked out I noticed All Might perfectly comfortable laying on my couch and watching Tv. I just sat down on the rocking chair next to him. I noticed he was sound asleep. I sighed grabbing the remote and changing the channel to the news. It shows pictures of All Might doing different heroic actions. I looked at the scrawny man next to me, "Damn he did all of that on the way to my place." I said aloud. I used my glass water to carry him to my fathers room and laid him down in the bed. I smiled leaving the room, 'Ill make some good lunch for us. He did come all the way here' I thought going into the kitchen.

I turned on the radio and noticed that it was playing 'Cheap Thrills' I smiled working around to make some spaghetti, just cause it would be a good meal. As I began to prepare the sauce the song changed into 'Cant Stop the Feeling' I quickly finished the sauce and put it into the pot to cook it. I set a timer and then placed the garlic bread into the oven. I felt the music in my bones and waved my hips back and forth. I sat down and waited for the timer to go off for the food. I turned the radio off and pulled out my cell phone. I noticed a text from the swim captain, 'If you have nothing to do tonight would it be alright if I come over at about 7? I need to discuss something about the next meet.' it read. I replied with a simple, 'ok'.

I heard the timer for the food going of and placed the things on two separate plates. I looked at the clock that said it was two, "How does time fly like that…" I thought aloud. I went to my fathers room and noticed All Might just waking up, "Where am I?" He asked. I looked at him, "Look at sleeping beauty. Your in my fathers room. I took you in here." I said as he stood up, "I also made some lunch, to tell the truth I don't know the right time of day to eat spaghetti but tomorrow I have to go to a swim meet. Hope you like it." I said dragging him to the table.

He sat down and just look at the food, "Thank you." Was all he said as he began to eat. I began to eat my food as well finishing quickly, "Well it was wonderful having you around, now please, Get out." I said opening the door. He just nodded and left remember that we meet in front of the young boy's house. I just nodded closing the door behind him. I sighed cleaning up the plates and foods, "Damn it, now I also have to make diner for the captan…" I thought aloud.

I watched Tv until it was time to start preparing the food. I made a simple Chicken dinner and set places. I looked at myself in the mirror cleaning off the stains on my face, "Damn it why didn't he tell me I was eating like a pig." I changed into a simple tank top and sweats, "Nothing too formal, its just the captain." I looked at myself in the mirror and posed, "Damn I look good." I said to myself and my glory.

I heard the door bell ring, 'right on time' I thought to myself. I opened the door and revealed a very well dress captain, he was wearing a dress shirt and black pants as well as dress shoes. I noticed that he brushed his hair back and was even wearing cologne, "Now i feel underdressed captain." I said to hime he just looked at me with his usual blank expression. (He looks like Nozaki-Kun)

He just walked in and sat down at the table and patted the seat next to him, "these are the events I placed you in" He said pointing at the different pictures leaning a bit too close for comfort. I smiled ignoring the closeness, "You know me all too well" I said looking at his face. His expression didn't reveal any secrets about him. I stood up and grabbed the food, "You came all the way here so I made some dinner." I placed the food in front of him and sat down next to him. He just started eating quietly, 'man this is more awkward then eating with all might. He just is too out of place here.' I thought to myself.

"(y/n) I also came here to propose an idea for you" He said out of the blue. I looked up from my food swallowing, "What idea do you have for me?" I asked turning my head to look at him, 'I should have probably sat on the other side of the table this hurts my neck.' I thought to myself. He looked at me in all seriousness, "Join my family business." He said. I looked at him puzzled, "And what is this family business?" I asked. He leaned in closed ignoring my personal space wish, "My family business is villains. I would expect for you to already know due to my family being the talk of the school." He said.

I felt an awful chill up my spine and heard my heart beat in my ears, "Um… well.. That is a nice offer but…" he cut me off, "But what? Everyone in our school dream of becoming villains and you were the only person to not cower at the mere mention of my name. Other then my henchmen of course. You really didn't notice the backgrounds of the people on the swim team? You are the only person on the swim team that isn't a part of the family business." He lectured on. I smiled and backed out of my seat, "Well that is a nice offer but I… can't become a villain. You know my father is a side kick." I said too him.

He just smiled at that, "We already took care of that. We offered your father the position of the head henchmen. Right now he is out taking care of some business." He said smiling. He stood up and backed me up to a wall, "So you don't have to worry your power would make sure you climb the ranks. My father and your father also made an agreement to my request of having us engaged!" He said crazily. I saw in his eyes the fantasies, he probably believe that I was madly in love with him, "You want that right?!" He yelled at me. I felt tears dripping down my cheeks, 'My father would do no such thing!' I yelled in my mind.

I curled into a ball closing my eyes, 'this isn't happening! This isn't happening!' I thought, 'Captain was a nice person. HE HELPED PEOPLE! THIS IS NOT MY CAPTAIN' I stood up and smacked him, "You are not my captain!" I yelled. I looked at him and noticed his image distorting, "Of course I am your captain!!!" He yelled. I noticed his body morphing into a strange creature, "NO THAT IS NOT MY CAPTAIN!" I yelled. I knew what this was. I knew in my mind that this was my captain. I cried until I heard the front door open. I looked up and saw All Might in his super hero form, "Are you ok?" He asked me. I just nodded.

He grabbed up Captain and threw him out the door. I didn't know what happened after that because I passed out. When I woke up I saw stars above me. I felt the wind brushing past my face. I looked up and noticed that All Might was carrying me with his signature smile right there, "We have got to stop ending up like this" I said out loud. He just laughed, "How did you know there was something wrong?" I asked as I noticed we were above the city I clung tightly, "I noticed that something was wrong when I passed a man dying in an ally way he said that he was attacked by some creature that said he could never be happy with him in the picture. He said that the creature was after his daughter and when he told me the address I knew you were in trouble." I looked at him with horror, "Is he ok!?" I yelled at him.

He just chuckled, "He is fine I took him to the hospital but he will be there for some time." he said. I sighed in relief, "We are heading to my place for now. Your house is no longer safe and when his family learns that he is in prison now they are going to hunt you down. The hero academy is the only safe place now." I just nodded understanding him. I closed my eyes tired from everything that happened, "Im glad I met you" I said out loud. I didn't hear a reply but i knew he understood. We landed in front of the hero academy he set me down letting me walk next to him.

"Stay close to me, if you separate from me the security system is going to go off." He said simply I nodded and kept close to him. He stayed in his hero form and I noticed blood dripping down his mouth. We finally made it to the dorm room he resided in, "Stay in here I have to go get a pass so you can walk around the campus, you won't have access to any of the buildings except this room alright. Now if anyone knocks don't open the door." He said still in hero form. He transformed back into his scrawny form and walked out of the room. I looked around and noticed how simple his dorm room was. There was a kitchen right next to the dining room and there was a bed in the corner. The only doors inside was one for the bathroom and one for an office.

I sat down on the couch and laid down, 'Damn how did I get in such a position. I wonder why he took me in…' I thought to myself closing my eyes. He came back quickly with a strange bracelet, "Put this on, This give you access to this room and the security recognizes you as a limited guest." He said simply and walked into the room. I bowed in thanks, "Why are you being so kind to me?" I asked. He just sighed, "Because I will help any one who needs help." He said walking into the bathroom, "You can sleep on the couch it is also a bed." He said.

I looked at the couch and pulled off the cushions and pulled out the bed part of it placing the cushions to the side. I laid on top of the bed and fell asleep quickly.

The next day when I woke up I noticed that All Might was gone and I looked around in the kitchen finding a box of Pop Tarts. I began to eat it and then I realized that all I had to wear was my sweats and tank top. I didn't even have shoes. I yawned and turned on the TV and when I realized today was a pretty uneventful day I turned off the tv and went out for a walk, "Wow… This place is beautiful!" I said out loud. I walked around aimlessly just looking at the scenery.

The wind was quite nice as well. I sat down at a bench that was a bit into a park on the school campus. The trees were of ones I had never seen before. I pulled the water from the air and started to make little figures out of the water and held them in my hand. I made an All Might figure and smiled at my skill. Without realizing it someone had sat next to me and admired my work, "I don't see why you would make a figure of that guy." He said out loud to me. I tensed, "Um…. Well, I was just bored…" I said dispersing the water back to its separate state. I looked at the man sitting next to me. He had long black hair with tired looking eyes and a strange scarf.

"Im sorry who are you?" I asked. He just sighed, "I am a teacher here, Im getting ready for the next school year." He said simply, "Who are you? I belong here but you don't seem to be a teacher and students aren't supposed to arrive here yet." He said. I just laughed to myself, "I don't know how to answer that questions but I can assure you. I will either leave soon or become a student here." I said simply. I stood up and bowed to him, "Thank you for that nice chat but I shall be heading off now." I walked off not really wanting to deal with this guy anymore.

I made it back to the room and opened the door to find that All Might was in the office doing some paperwork. I crept into the room in the far back and stood over his shoulder, "What are you doing?" He questioned me. I laughed, "Well it is quite boring and I don't have anything to do until tomorrow… what am I going to do about school?!" I realized out of the blue, "Calm down, I got your school to agree to let you take your tests with me. All you have to do is pass them and then you are done with the year." I sighed.

He handed me a pile of papers, "It is best you just get it done now. I know you may be underprepared…" I laughed patting his back, "My school is meant for delinquents they make the tests as easy as possible for them and I study my ass off almost everyday. I know more then even the teachers there." I sat down on the chair opposite of him and did my work on the other side of his desk, "I hope you don't mind." I said. I easily finished the first test quickly and began the next one. As I worked I heard All Might clear his throat, "(y/n) I have something I need to tell you. While I was out today I met with your father in the hospital and we both found it best if even after your father gets out that you stay with me to protect both you and him. He signed over the adoption papers… so now I am your adoptive father… Man this is awkward." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

I sighed, "I understand but why are you so open to caring for me?" I asked doing the next part of my test. All Might sighed, "I don't know. I just feel like it is the right thing to do. I never really had a responsibility like this before so take it easy on me." He said. I laughed, "So can I call you papa then?" I laughed out, "Just call me Toshinori." He said. I finished the second test with ease, "Yeah that sounds good." I laughed.

I soon finished the rest of my tests and handed them over to him, "Done, easy as cake." I said walking out into the living room, "Feeling like anything for lunch?" I asked. He looked like he was in thought rubbing his unnaturally sharp chin, "How about some soup, I'm not really particular about anything." He said. I nodded and walked out and began to cook some chicken soup. It was simple and was finished quickly, "Do you want to eat in here or eat it while you work?" I questioned. He looked at me as if the answer was obvious, "Im no workaholic, set me a place at the table please." I smiled and set the table. 

As we ate he admired my food, "How are you so good at cooking! Not even professionals make this so good!!" I smiled at his reaction, "It is a secret Toshi!" I laughed.
