Welcome back!
The moment many of us have been waiting for is finally here—the doors to the new institute and the like have finally been reopened! Everything has been renovated, prettied up and made suitable for the return of students and staff alike…and our little egg has hatched as well, giving birth to an even littler god by the name of Devika!
She has asked students to return to the new institute, and through what method of travel? Well, certainly the ports, right? Staff and teachers have asked students to begin packing away their things and heading to the docks, where they’ll be transported to the new location… Boy, how exciting!
--Oh, but it isn’t by ferry?
Instead of an underwater ferry waiting for them, 6 staff members—the descendants, to be precise—have stationed themselves in the six regions, a hoop alongside of them. Now this seems mighty familiar—a hoop that can transport from one place to the next? Students are asked to step through the hoop and find themselves transported to a new location.
The Entralink.
What greets them when they arrive is....thankfully, not the stairs! Those steps created by the devil--though it seems in place of the dreaded stairs, there is a hedge maze? Hopefully it won’t be too difficult to find your way out and reach the front doors! It’ll take a little patience, at least… though watch out as this maze seems to be a little too playful and I am sure that branch just tripped someone...
Once through, the doors of the new institute stand before the end of the maze. And little Devika floats just in front of those closed doors. Each student is given a bracelet, which will help them travel back and forth between the regions and the Entralink. Paws outstretched, a faint glow, and two bright eyes peer at the students…
“Now, let’s see what new house you belong to!”
Welcome back into the institute! As you have seen in the past weeks we’ve been revamping, adding, cutting, pasting and fixing things around here!
Among the new things we have a few special ones!
For one thing the school Campus (High School AND College) are now located in the Entralink! A different dimension accessed through golden hoops. Each student received a small golden bracelet upon entering this dimension, with it their Hidden Power has been registered and when used the option of opening the portals will appear! You don’t have your Hidden Power yet? You’ll need a teachers’ assistance to head in or out of the Entralink, there’s no rush!
Our new little guardian Devika! A very small and naive little mew who’s ready to sort you into our other special thing…
New Houses! That’s it, it’s sorting time numero dos. Five new houses have been created to replace the old ones. Why you ask? Those six already taught you a lesson, right? It’s time to move on and learn something new. The new houses are represented by common pokemon this time:
Bion, the house of Life with it’s mysterious mascot Shedinja.
Idenn, the house of Change, with a hardworking shiny Magikarp.
Reverie, the house of Hope, with an angelic Togekiss.
Themba, the house of Trust, with the alluring Mega Absol.
And finally Haldora, the house of Love, with the nourishing Blissey.
It’s time to head to the new database and see where you have been sorted this time and who your new Heads of House are! Roommates will be established during the weekend, for both High School and College students that wish to stay in campus. Be warned, College students will get their roomies depending on their House so if you want your students to live off campus please say so in this journal!
For the next two weeks submissions depicting the arrival and sorting might get a little something for your inventories and must be sent to the Events Folder!
