the person i mentioned in this journal entry?? she's everywhere.
even though i have her blocked, i see her comments on all my friends' posts. everything i want to read and appreciate and love - she gets there first. and seeing her username itself just makes me angry and upset and sad.
i absolutely can't stay here anymore. i'm really sorry.
a lot of my friends ARE friends with her. i know this, and i'm also afraid, because if it came down to taking sides, would you choose me? would you stand with me, or would you go on supporting her???

okay so. i've been having a bit of a rocky pride month, in some ways. i had a nasty run in with a terf, and one of my good friends alex was harassed by a ton of terfs. this has made me sort of, well. think & re-evaluate which online forums and communities i really want to open out on. i love being on twitter, though i mostly follow poets & gardeners on there, as opposed to doing/being overly political. i'm realising that sometimes, that's self-care - not fighting it out, because sometimes it's just not worth it. the block button is my friend.
