A landscape I painted during a plein air painting class I painted this June. The class ran for five days, thus I have five landscapes to post. I'll post them over the next few days (hopefully.)
Hamilton House Gardens is adjacent to Vaughan Woods State Park in Eliot, ME. It's a historic estate with a river view and a small but elegant garden that is perfect for walking and painting. I've been here on walks before, and it's very pleasant in the summer.
I painted each of these paintings in 2-3 hours. Each of the five paintings is charmingly small, either 5x7" or 6x6". Unfortunately that makes it difficult to find frames.
Monday: Hamilton House
Tuesday: Hilton Park
Wednesday: Mount Agamenticus
Thursday: Nubble Lighthouse
Friday: Marshland
