I was inspired by Terry Carnivore and Heather Carnivelle from Raymond Branch's webcomic Barely Human, in which a family of bears adapt to life as human beings, and following everybody into seeing them as human whilst at it, and yet dealing with hapless friends, annoying bullying cheerleaders, insistent girl guides, pointless diets and a fixation for pantyhose...
