Normally I try not to make Spring too similar to Pinkie Pie, but this situation demanded it.

It may seem a bit odd for Rarity to be the one giving scientific lectures instead of Twilight, but remember, she's become an expert in cybernetics since the time of the show, which would require a working knowledge of biology, anatomy (which as a designer she'd already need to know), medicine, and the effects of magic flow on life forms.  So she knows whereof she speaks
