Birthdate/Age: (20) December 17

Weapon: Magnets + Electricity

Safillia’s biggest asset is her capacity to make objects float from her ability, even though it only affects some few, select objects. Metal, steel, swords; all good. Wood, rocks, people; they all stay unmoving. Taking off guard is her favorite tactic, and she will try to distract then strike, maybe hitting you in the head with a pan, or just bluntly with her magnets.

Sometimes she favors electricity, but this always costs her lots of energy and she tires very fast. Even though she found a viable source of energy, it doesn’t mean the source can produce energy massively. It’s way easier to spend it than recharge it. Most of the time she can indulge in small teasing bolts, maybe making the enemies flinch, or prevent it from moving for a few seconds.

The magic she uses is wicked strong, but demands so much energy from her, she can rarely use it. Even with a big magical supply, she can't hit more than once or twice every once in awhile. Striking down a pillar of light, she can strike you with thunder. Sadly, it's not something she uses a lot or has the chance to practice, and it takes her a good 15 minutes to charge a single beam, and around a month to be able to use it again.

Ability:
Magnet pull | Saffillia is able to attract minerals and others things that can hold a charge toward her magnets. She usually tries to use this to bring things to herself without moving, but she could probably pull you all the way back from the bathroom to the living room if you don't take your heavy armor off. Apparently hairs are also targeted by the pull, as they might start to stand on everyone heads if she is not careful. She is limited in the weight she can pull, and if targeting something too big, she will be the one being pulled and stuck on said object. She can't pull or lift something heavier than her.

Hometown: A small, hidden house situated close to Oskora’s borders.

Personality:

She’s don’t own a personality, let's call it ‘’Behavior’’

Blank | Emotionless | Determined | Calculated | Curious | Copycat

Safillia is a magical entity incapable of any emotion; feelings are strange to her and her personality is like an empty sheet of paper. But there seems to be some specific behavior she keeps repeating or seems to follow.

She can’t be deterred; when she puts her mind to something, she will do everything in her power to achieve it. Obstacles can always be surpassed, and if not, bypassed. It could very well be considered obsession, as it's hard to distract her from something she wants to achieve.

One of her biggest flaws would be her curiosity, maybe added to the fact she has no sense of privacy. There is some hint of a childish behavior behind all of it, as she is not trying to get information for malevolent deeds, even if she couldn’t care less if her actions generate negative events. She might even engage in some illegal or villainous deeds if it means getting the information she wants. Of course, she tries to avoid this option, as it creates some repercussions that end up being more negative to her teachers.

Her actions are always planned, as it's an important part of success. Improvisation is rare and almost inexistent. In grotesque situations, she can be easily overwhelmed. She can be taken by surprise with unorthodox actions, leaving her confused. She has the bad habit of freezing in battle to try and think of another plan.

Safillia realized it was easier to get what you wanted if you didn’t stand out too much from the crowd. Or at least a bit less. She started to pick up some behaviors she saw the living people do. Even though the intention is to blend in, she often fails miserably. Trying to copy someone’s sense of humor doesn’t mean you now have a sense of humor. Jokes are always at the worst moments, puns are killing it, and sarcasm… Let’s not even talk about it. She is also unable to create anything. Replicating is easy, but coming up with her own ideas are near impossible. If she does something, it's because she saw or read it somewhere.

Most of what Safillia desires are impulses that have been implemented in her head. Compare it to basic instinct. Her creator wanted her to perform certain tasks, and there is nothing in the world that will stop her from achieving them, even if it destroys her. She needs to take care of the place she was created in, for this she needs to bring back her clan. Everything she does leads to this. She needs to know people, to learn more, faster, to go back.

History:

It all started with a single idea. Just a tiny thought. “Can I create life?”

Once it started, there was no stopping it. One after the other, they were born; not entirely alive, but still sentient. The first one could move, the second one could listen, the third one obeyed orders, and the fourth one could answer. It seemed like every time a new one was created, their creator got better, making them more realistic, faster, stronger. It was nice at first: he sent them to take care of a small, underground manor. No one could find them down here. They took care of his most precious possession: his knowledge. Books, scrolls, runes, they all protected these, taking care of it like a well-taught dog. And that's how he saw them. Tools.

It took him a good amount of times before their numbers got more significant, and with this number they started to get more clever, even starting to think by themselves. Sadly, he never saw this - never realized that they were more intelligent in groups. Together, they were a single entity. But he didn’t care, all he did was come and drop one of his new creations to them, took care of their well being quickly, then left like nothing happened, leaving his children alone.

Their only goal was to seek knowledge, as their master wished, and they happily did so… If we could call it happiness. They didn’t feel anything: no fear, no pain, no sadness. Only logic. And it was good like this. They didn’t need anything more. But one day it changed; the person they called father came back one day, overtaken by an emotion these lost children couldn’t understand. Madness? Loneliness? Despair? They didn't’ know, but he screamed and screamed! And then….

Then he started to break them, hitting one of his own children under the eyes of all his other creations. The children watched as he hit the body of their brother. Unmoving, they watched him finish his job, leaving a broken carcass on the stone floor. They watched him, not understanding why he would do something like that. Was he not supposed to bring more of them? Not take them away! This was illogical, this was U̧͔̲͈ͅń̻A̜̮̙͚͍͜c̪̫̺̣̞͟c̵̬̲͖̺̫e҉̦̟͍̹̲P̰͕͕̯͕ͅt̤̯̭a̼B̬̰͕͕͍͘l͔̠̱͕e̸̹̺̱͇̲̳.̣. They had to stop him. And so they did.

Life underground after this was good, no one came to bother them, it was but a small construction hidden in dirt; no one actually cared about it. All those siblings took care of it, studied the books in the library, copied maps, rewriting some old journals. It was perfect, calm, well-planified. Until the first one fell. It happened out of the blue: one of the oldest dropped to the floor, emptied of energy; all magic that used to power it gone. They took care of the remains and kept on working, until it happened again… And again… Concern started to rise, without their father to give them the magic they needed, they started to weaken, then losing what little energy they had, they would turn off. Even though powered by it, none of the children could create it, leaving them helpless to their fate. They searched in all the books, all the corners of their domain, without finding anything useful to them; all the information they gloated to know was now useless.

After deliberation, they finally came to a conclusion. They needed to go out and find a way to keep on living. To spare energy, some brothers and sister went into a state of meditation, the closest they could ever get to sleep. A few, strong and quick individuals were chosen to go outside. Safillia was one of them. They chose 5 brothers and sisters that stood out. Obellia, the strongest. Avalon, the quickest. Sirville, the brightest. Ervin, the sturdier. And finally, Safillia, the youngest of them all, as she had the most energy, and could travel faster and farther.

Safillia traveled far, and visited many cities and fields. As soon as she learned something new, she would go back, almost empty of all magic. Every time she did, one of her siblings would give her his energie, and even though the sacrifice was big, she would go back to search again. And again. And again… And again. Slowly, the underground house became more empty as time passed…

She traveled still, and one day she finally found it. A source of magic able to power up their golem hearts, something that would sustain them, and for hundreds of lifetimes! The price for it had been high, but she managed to absorb it somehow, making it a part of her. Once back home, all she would need to do was to extract her own heart and give it to the rest of her family, allowing them to live on.

The day she came back, there was no one left. Looking around the house, she counted her fallen siblings, unable to help them. And there she sat, with her infinite supply of energy, unable to help any of the fallen ones. Unable to bring back any of them. She saw Obellia lying in one of the rooms of the house. Sirville had been lost, as she once found his remains far in the mountain. She didn’t know what happened to Ervin and Avalon, but she knew they would come back eventually. This day did come. Apparently, they had decided to travel together, and it's together they came back, both drained and empty-handed. Safillia was not sad; she couldn’t be, and probably would never be. But she didn’t want her family to disappear like this.

Her two brothers sat with her, looking at the wall. All lights were off; they didn’t need it. The air was cold, but still, they ended up holding hands.

‘’I don’t want to be alone.’’

---

Safillia was sturdier now, she was also quicker. But most importantly, she was not alone. Her mission had been a success, finding a source of energy. But now she had a new one.

‘’We will bring them back. We just need to keep searching.’’

Moveset:

Flash / Safillia unleashes a flash of light to blind an enemy. It's more efficient between wall, at night and in grotto, as the low quantity of natural light makes it seem more powerful.  It’s almost useless in sunny days or in well lit houses.

Steel Magnet Bomb / Charge, hold in, release. Safillia can release a magnet blast, propulsing everyone away from her. It doesn't make much damage, but it is a convenient move to flee.

Magnet rise / There is an uncomfortable sensation taking hold of you. Safillia fills the air around herself with a powerful, magnetic field. This prevents ground attacks from affecting her, making dirt and dust fly around. It's a good way to clean a room, and it looks like dirt is fleeing her. The rise of magnetisation tends to make people's hair stand up straight on their head, there is also this weird pressure sensation, a bit like when it's really humid and hot.

Thunderbolt / Rarely used because of the charge it pull on her, quite literally. Thunderbolt hits hard and never misses, but she needs to make sure she aims for the good opponent. She needs around 15 to 20 minutes to charge her magnet and be able to deliver a blast, and needs to wait a few hours before firing again without overheating. Plus, she can’t produce enough energy to shoot a bolt more than twice a month. Usually she needs a team to cover her during the time she casts this, or be undercover. But the noise she makes usually snitches her. If lucky, she has a chance to paralyze the target.

Extras/Fun facts:

She likes to touch a lot. She doesn’t understand personal space.

Her jokes are like a rusty old knife. You want nothing to do with them.

She calls everyone by their last name. Or tries to, anyway.

Evolving was a logical choice. Nothing more. It was just the thing to do, and so they did.

Safillia chooses to identify as female for no particular reason. Call her sir, lady, thing. She don’t care. But she does like the advantage it gives her over men, who sometimes think them fragile for some reason? She doesn’t get why, but having someone do something for you is nice.

If you take a closer look at her hair, you will notice those bangs are empty, they also sound like wind chimes every time they hit against each other. And that happens every time she moves her head a little. It's like music, very broken, but still nice to hear.

Saf learned the move Thunderbolt during her research. Even though it proved to be risky to learn at the time, she was still able to practice and learn how to use it with the studying of many books. It’s still a hard move to master and is considered a last resort. It’s quite shocking when she use it.

The source of energy she found is now a part of her, and she would instantly lose all power if it was to be removed. Simply put, it's a magical rune able to stock energy, energy she was not able to store by herself before. The magnets moving around her combined with the proximity of the artifact is what produces said energy. It’s enough to give her all she needs to fly around all day. (See it like a magnet battery)

The clan used to be more powerful together. More golems, more intelligence. Saffillia, even if fused with two other of her kind, has no chance to rival what she once used to be. She wishes to acquire this knowledge back once she brings the clan back to life.

She doesn’t mind sharing almost anything she knows in exchange of information. She also always carries a quill and a notebook. Turns out her handwriting is very... original and hard to read.

Her research in their creator's old notes were more than unsatisfying, as it seems they  wrote very little notes about their brothers. No golem was able to fill the missing information concerning their creation, making their chance to repair themselves near impossible, as they were all lacking imagination and the art of innovation.

Funny story

Safillia, who might seem like an intelligent being, has her few flaws. She traveled and came across 4 great guilds she considered as options for her research. She first found the knights. Interesting, all wearing shiny armor and hard metals plates. It kinda felt like home when she looked at it. She didn’t really get the occasion to sign up, and she was kinda happy she didn’t. How did the peasant say again? Oh yes. ‘’They have it up so deep it’s almost coming out of their mouth.’’

Second were the mages. The Archives was full, so full of knowledge it would take her hundreds of lives to read it all. A time she was convinced she could reduce by exploring. She was also not convinced about amounts of explosion and fire that came from the many labs. A real mess. Also the guild master looked like an ignored old geezer, she was not ready to learn anything from him. She needed to explore behind closed walls.

Thieves have been one hell of a ride. All they said was contradictory, fales, and they always asked for money or other favors. She got so confused, were they all dumb? They said something then the other and totally forgot about past promises. They were broken. Too bad Safillia didn’t get the principle that was called Lie.

That's how she ended up with a bunch of misplaced weirdos, all gathered in the same place. The mercenary guild. Very little rules, many people that liked to talk.
