Personality:
Carefree | Procrastinator | Creative | Withdrawn | Polite

Growing up, Skylar was a very creative child. She would always show her creative side in different ways as a child. From painting on the walls to drawing a colorful scenery on a piece of paper, whatever she made, it was always made with extravagant colors. However, she sometimes stops what she's working on and often times sets it aside for another time. There's been instances when she knows about her work, but she just keeps pushing it aside. She really doesn't want to do it at that time. Procrastination becomes a bit problem in her life, especially when she wants to become a photographer. Aside from her close friends and family, she was very withdrawn as a kid, and still to this day is still withdrawn. It's not that she doesn't like people, she just likes things to be quiet. She likes working at her own pace and doing things how she wants. Having people getting in her little bubble distracts her from what she's doing. Growing up being into photography, she learned that you always need to take the shot, and you have to be on top of everything. Just having people around her would distract her from getting that perfect shot. Though she is withdrawn from people, that doesn't mean she isn't polite to people either. She's a very nice girl and shows no sign of anxiety around others, but she does have trouble trying to hold her own in a conversation. It usually ends abruptly and it's hard for her to pick it back up afterwards.

History:
Skylar was the youngest of two children. It was her and her older sister Celine, and they both grew up with two parents. They were your normal, average family all around. Skylar didn't grow up with any extraordinary things going on in her life. Her parents were upper middle class, and Skylar and Celine went to school like every kid did around their age. They both lived an average life. And Skylar loved it this way.

Skylar always looked up to her sister in every way. Celine was like a beacon to Skylar, and she would follow in her footsteps in everything she did. If Celine tried a new thing, Skylar would do the same. Celine started playing an instrument? She'd try it too. Watch a certain tv show? You can bet that Skylar would join in. As much as Celine loved her little sister, she wanted her to try her own things. If she became just like her sister, she wouldn't have her own individuality. She knew Skylar was very creative, but she couldn't do much with drawing. She could write, but she would get tired of it so quickly.

Her love for photography started after her sister and parents pitched together and got her a nice Polaroid camera for her birthday. She took her camera out and photographed everything in sight. She loved the fact that with this camera, she could have the picture in an instant. Soon, the walls of her room became cluttered with photographs. Every once in a while she'd have to switch them out. Finally, Skylar had found something that defined her. Something she was good at on her own. She was glad that she didn't have to share this talent with her sister.

However, the older she got, the harder the critics became. She joined art classes in school and submitted some of her recent photographs as her project. Up until this point, everyone had said that her art was amazing. Family, friends; they loved her photographs. She wasn't expecting the teacher to be so up front with her and criticize everything about her photo. She didn't yet understand that this was constructive criticism. Everyone in her class was criticizing her art as well! She couldn't understand where she went wrong. During this time, she thought she was mediocre. She thought her photographs held no value at all and she wanted to quit her dream of becoming a photographer. He sister, the beacon in her life, sat down with her and explained the difference between people being jerks and receiving actual constructive criticism. Celine told her that there will be people in her life that don't like her work, but there will always be those who look up to her as an artist and will appreciate her photos all the same. With these words of wisdom in her head, Skylar picked up her camera and went ahead with her dream.

After graduating school, she was left between a rock and a hard place. Due to her classes at school, she had become really good as a photographer. She had the option to go to a college specializing in art. Or she could attempt to create her own life and see how it goes from there. In the end, she decided to chance it. She took her skills as a photographer, and set out on her own. She was bound for new places, and she was going to meet new people.  Perhaps, sometime in the future, she'd even be able to further her career in photography like she dreamed.

Likes: Reading, writing, photography, taking walks and gliding/stretching out her wings, cold weather, rainy days, snowy days
Dislikes: Having nothing to do, really hot muggy days, meat, people being jerks, homphobes

Funfacts:
- She's bisexual
-She has a massive sweet tooth
-She is obsessed with the season autumn. The decorations, the scenery, it also makes for perfect photographs.
-She prefers friendships to love.
-She's been in the photography business for several years.
-She's very creative; but can't draw to save her life. ((Maybe because she doesn't exactly have fingers))
-She can't wear long sleeve shirts. They simply won't fit over her wings.
-She loves cold and rainy weather.
-Her older sister has always been her influence.
-Constructive criticism is one thing, but if you make fun of her photos with nothing to back you up, she hates that.
