Being the youngest, she had to raise her voice to be heard, and she still lives by that rule. She's here to lead her team to victory, not let them slack off. If someone tries to hurt a member of her team though...hell hath no fury like Xia on the war path.
When something interests her, she's very eager about it. It's her new favorite thing! Everyone has to know about it, because it's so great!
Let's be honest. She grew up in a rich family and went to a private school, she's somewhat sheltered from the harsher things in life. She's grown up a little more over the past few years, but whether it's sex or poverty, she has a lot to learn.
She'll work hard when it counts, but off the track, she usually requires an extra push to do things.
You can call her a lot of things, but she's not a liar. She seems nonchalant about the fact that she lied to her parents, but she hated the way it made her feel, like she was letting them down. History:
In Xia's upper class family, age is important. Being the youngest of four children, many doors were closed for her from the beginning. Her siblings outshone her in every way possible, but she knew in her heart that her Sire (father) loved her the most. She was the baby of the family and he doted on her. The oldest helped oversee an interplanetary travel business they would eventually inherit, the second oldest married a politician's son and is very well off, and the third dedicated years of study to becoming a professor at one of the best universities that Lyublyu has to offer.
While her family loved her, no one was around, no one even took her seriously. As she completed basic schooling and realized her whole life was ahead of her, she had to stop and think: what now? What was she going to do with the hand she was dealt? She had high hopes for a school in Engineering and Architecture, but after a year, she realized that it wasn't right for her at all.
She dropped out of college and lied to her family about it, couch-surfing for a few months and doing some soul searching. Just by chance, her roommate had tickets to a race and their date cancelled on them. Xia went along a little reluctantly, but she had nothing better to do, so why not? The stadium was filled with light and sound and adrenaline, the sensations building together into a crescendo. She had never felt so alive before, brought to her feet as everyone cheered for the winning team. An alien team, even. It was amazing, they were so inspirational.
From that day on, she knew what she wanted to do. She found it within herself to go home and tell her parents the truth, that she wanted to become a member of the alien racing team instead of an architect. It took her Dam (mother) a while to come around, but her Sire was very excited at the prospect. She spent the next four years training until she got on the team - on her fourth try, actually. After the previous leader of the Galaxxies dropped out to start a family, Xia stepped into the position and the rest is history.
