Chapter 1: A New Task At Hand

  Three months after the Night Howler case, Zootopia was at peace once again. With the help for Officer Wilde and Officer Hopps, they had put the main mastermind of the Night Howler scheme behind bars. However, there will be a behemoth task awaiting Nick as he will be taking care of, 3 Judy’s which have the same traits, memories but different personalities until the effect is reversible.

*One random day in Zootopia*

‘C’mon Nick! We’re gonna be late for work!’

‘What’s the rush Carrots? You can tell the chief that we have to clean up your apartment before we have to head for work.’

‘I don’t think the chief will be accepting this excuse though.’ Said a worried Judy as she drove her police cruiser to the ZPD headquarters.

They reached the ZPD headquarters, alighted from the vehicle in quick succession and they scampered off to the briefing room where Chief Bogo was handing out assignments to the other police officers. They managed to reach the briefing room just in time as Chief Bogo was starting to hand out assignments to the police officers.

‘Sorry about that Chief, we’re late for work.’

‘Aint it a minute to soon, Officer Hopps and Officer Wilde. I will be penalising the both of you if you both came a minute later. Head to your seats and wait for the assignments.’

Judy and Nick went to their seats as they await for their assignments.

‘Silence! Silence please! Alright, there’s hardly any difficult assignments today so I will be handing out simple assignments to you guys. When I call out your names, please stand up and head to the location where I wanted you to be.’ Said Chief Bogo.

‘Wolfred, Fangmeyer. You guys will be heading to Tundratown for traffic duty. Delgato, McHorn. Both of you will be patrolling Rainforest District. Francine, Nashorn, both of you guys will be going undercover in Sahara Square. Dismissed.’

All the police officers then left the briefing room, leaving Nick and Judy with Chief Bogo.

‘Sir, what about our assignments?’

‘I am giving the both of you a special assignment, since you both were the ones who did excellently well in the Night Howler case.’

‘I see, any contents about the special assignment?’ asked Nick.

‘Indeed I have, there were reports streaming in that a small shop in Tundratown had been ransacked and robbed. The shop is named “Paranormal Phenomena.” I want the both of you to check it out and provide any vital information to us before we make our next move. Understand, Officer Hopps and Officer Wilde?’ said Chief Bogo as he handed a case file to Judy.

‘Affirmative Chief.’ Said the duo as they left the briefing room.

They walked to the lobby of the ZPD headquarters before being greeted by Ben Clawhauser.

‘Oh look who’s here. Judy and Nicky Nick!’ said Clawhauser as he munched another donut.

‘So how’s your relationship going?’ he added as his remarks made Judy and Nick speechless.

‘We....we are getting along pretty well, as friends and partners.’ Said Judy as she let out a sheepish smile.

‘Aw come on! I know your relationship is more than that, just look at the both you, you both are made for each other.’

Clawhauser’s comments made Nick and Judy’s face blush red as a tomato before Nick realised that they still had an assignment to do.

‘Well Clawhauser, we have an assignment to complete so we have to go. Catch you later. C’mon Carrots, let’s go!’

Nick and Judy then sprinted out from the lobby and headed to their police cruisers. Judy started the ignition of the cruiser, the engine of the police cruiser roared to life. A few revs from Judy stepping on the accelerator as to warm the engine up, and the cruiser slowly awakened to life. Without hesitation, Judy stepped on the gas as the police cruiser rushed out from the ZPD headquarters and soon disappeared into view.

 ‘Aw, I think Nick and Judy will make a good couple someday.’ Thought Clawhauser as he drank his morning coffee.
