Personals

Occupation: Grosvenor works as a PokeMart sales clerk. They sell items to trainers who come in while also restocking any items that need to be tended to.
Grosvenor offers special discounts on berries and herbs (which they grow themselves), and will give discounts for dittech users.
Their shop is a front for Apellon where they sell poisons. The poison they produce causes hallucinations if inhaled. Its commonly bought for the intense rush of euphoria, however too much in one go can send someone on a bad trip with hallucinations that can be difficult to distinguish from reality.

Town of Residence: Lumiose City

Personality
Mellow | Adaptable | Fun Loving | Antagonistic | Apathetic | Lazy | Ornery
Normally mellow and carefree, Grosvenor is the kind of person to go with the flow. They are normally very calm and usually very agreeable and bright. Things that bother other people tend not to bother them, and Grosvenor is one to just float on despite obvious trouble in a situation. They are adaptable and able to handle or cope with a situation if they do decide to become engaged. However they are very apathetic. They will usually attempt to get people who are stressed or seem uptight to relax. Over all they love to have fun, they love to party and really enjoy being in large groups of people. But they are also very lazy. Their calm demeanor can often be a negative thing where they won't be willing to do much simply because they don't want to use the energy to. If only they could get someone to carry them everywhere. While certainly unassuming Grosvenor has the capacity to be incredibly vicious and nasty. If they feel incredibly insulted or they feel threatened or backed into a corner you can expect vines and poison all up in your business. And if they aren't threatening enough, they sure as hell have friends who are.

History: Grosvenor was born to be a starter/gift pokemon. The original Kanto starters were given to some trainers who progressed to a certain point in their travels in Kalos. Usually making it to Lumiose City was enough for the new pokemon. Was it enough experience though? Grosvenor didn't think so. They were claimed by a young eager girl who was (in her defense) really young. Now, Grosvenor would tell you, trainers are okay, but starting kids out at ten years old to command pokemon was almost cruel. The girl didn't know how to take care of the bulbasaur. She didn't want them to get too hot so limited their exposure to the sun. This ended up being really harmful. The bulbasaur grew weaker and instead of doing the responsible thing, like bringing it to a pokemon center, the young trainer thought it best to battle with the bulbasaur. Getting the pokemon's blood pumping would be a good idea, she thought in her naivety.

The bulbasuar didn't want to fight. They wanted to rest, but Grosvenor didn't get the chance. They took the opposing Fennekin's ember to the face and in fear, anger, annoyance, and stress, their retaliation was probably a little over the top. On lookers might have thought the bulbasaur was trying to suffocate the fennekin with the sheer amount of poison powder they shoved into its face. After being poisoned the Fennekin was hurled at their trainer with a quick movement of Grosvenor's vines. The Bulbasaur's trainer didn't even get time to respond before a strike of the pokemon's vines nailed her in the gut, knocking her over. Fearing retaliation more than anything, Grosvenor ran. It wasn't until they stopped to rest did they realize they had evolved. But instead of feeling stronger like they felt they should have, they felt drained. They hadn't grown at all, but the bulb on their back sure did.

The stress from being forced to fight while ill sent Grosvenor's bulb into overdrive. The little bulbasaur's body was using too much energy and instead of this harmonious relationship between animal and plant, the plant was being drained. To make up for this it grew prematurely. Now because of the imbalance during the fight, the imbalance continued even after. The bud began to overtake the bulbasaur. When it didn't get enough sunlight the bud would begin sapping energy from the pokemon. This parasitic relationship continued until Grosvenor found help. A group called the Kabu Syndicate found them, specifically their friendly and sociable Toxicroax leader. They helped Grosvenor grow and eventually got them a Dittech when they were strong enough. They grew to a size where their bud and their body were able to live harmoniously. However Grosvenor still deals with muscle fatigue and joint pain from the premature evolution. They're able to be almost entirely functional with some medicinal help, which they also sell now to other people in need. Grosvenor spends a lot of time outdoors as sunlight also helps their chronic pain and fatigue.

After the merge of the three factions Grosvenor dropped out of the Kabu Syndicate. It was nice having the support, but they didn't particularly fit in with the rest of crowd. Things went on, like they usually do; Grosvenor expected to continue their rather calm and mundane lifestyle, selling potions to snotty kids with their purebred pokemon... Until Apellon came knocking. Word grew of their under the table dealings of certain... medicines and eventually Ren took notice, and interest. Now Grosvenor's "business" has bloomed. With Apellon backing them they are able to sell a lot more. Of course a good portion of the profit goes to the group, but Grosvenor can't complain. They get to tend to their plants and make money for doing what they enjoy. Plus acting like a bitch sometimes can be real fun.

Relationships

Brooklyn: Grosvenor loves Brook's company. They share high energy and get along pretty well for the most part. The Ivysaur loves Brooklyn's music and often sells their "merchandise" at clubs that Brook plays at. If they aren't dealing you can expect them on the dance floor. Groves would consider Brooklyn a real good friend. Plus he's an excellent customer.

Shylock: ...He talks a lot. And sometimes not enough. He's weird. Kind of uptight.... But Groves digs his aesthetic and he's a lot more enjoyable to be around after hitting some pixie dust.

Extras
~Grosvenor's drug has a lot of street names. A few of them are: fairy dust, pixie dust, glitter, fun dip
~The drug can be smoked, snorted, or dissolved on the tongue (its been said to taste like a nostalgic meal that can bring back melancholy memories of better times. Or worse times. Not too sure. The people who've reported this have been incredibly high.)
~Rumor has it that Grosvenor hides their eyes because they have horrible scars across their face. Another is they have a lazy eye and are embarrassed, or they are sensitive to light. It's also been suggested that they have three eyes, but no one believes this for long... at least while sober.
