Sabnach felt his stare at the back of her neck as the ground gave in to the steps of the large, lilac dire. The fanged, large-pawed dire female had been stubborn or stupid enough to join this bunch of four tokotas in their hunting trip – mostly because one of them was like her. A pureblooded dire male with a temper that would have snapped her neck in half if Sabnach had been even a bit smaller than her huge frame now was.
 
February was well known among the other dires – his temper almost matched their king, Fenrir, and his powers and mass would prove deadly if the things wouldn’t go on his way. The other, smaller tokotas seemed to be fine with this as they had followed his suite through these frosted plains – how they were still alive, Sabnach couldn’t but think. Poseidon, Sorta and Suluk just trotted after the huge male dire who sniffed the air for the prey.

11. [HUNTING] Top of the food chainSabnach felt the sting on her face as the winter winds blew straight to her as they climbed. But the dire would not say a thing – not when February was there and closing in – and the others seemed to be in good health anyway. So she would do well to swallow her pain and anger and just focus on the task at hand.
Suluk seemed to be the only one that shared the feelings as they tried to climb the small hillside to reach the place February was holding keen on his mind. Sorta and Poseidon were following his lead as always – the toki was turning his head a bit to see Sabnach and Suluk following but they were on the hunt and they all knew it. The lynxes were known to hide here somewhere – Sabnach wasn’t sure but apparently February was. So she had to trust him as they travelled the snow and tried to seek shelter from the biting wind. Who would even want to hunt in this weather? February apparently, and Poseidon since either one were nonchalant about the wind scre +8HP

14. [HUNTING] Coyote stalkingCoyotes. Again some small prey Sabnach wasn’t so keen on hunting. It had to be that February wanted – needed – to test her abilities constantly as the dire male hardly even acknowledged her presence. And she had spent the time with the group already! Suluk and Poseidon both were at least talking to her, as well as Sorta the toki, but it meant nothing if the group’s leader didn’t even say anything to her. Not that Sabnach wanted anything special but c’mon!
The dire female sighed as they were going towards the plains were there had been sightings of the small dog-like creatures. Well, to the dire’s eyes they were small indeed but as lynxes, they could pack a bunch into their teeth and claws if they wanted or felt threatened. Not to mention they were agile and quick – totally of the opposite build than the dires were – but Sorta, Suluk and Poseidon shouldn’t have that much of a problem to catch them.
