The darkness divides and takes shape.
Its heart beats pulsations of light.
Obscurity forms and rends reality asunder.
It hammers the surface like rogue waves
cleaving air and thought.
She invades the world like a visage of water
dripping against a clear surface.
A torrent of impurity ripples to life.
Lightlessness ascends with her.
Its arms outstretched and strong;
- her song mirrors creation and she spoke,
"I am conjured."

as the breaths come slower.

Loss
I’ll never forget that night. We were best friends, and I was always there for her. For ten years, I had never left her side, not even once. When we had nothing to do, we’d run around, play fetch and stuff, and even though it got boring after a while, I still did it. I did it because it made her happy… but I never got to tell her, I never swallowed my fear and told her the truth about me, about what I was. And now I never will.
It was dark, really dark, so dark that even I could barely see. But I could hear. I could hear the picks making their way through the lock, the sound of the front door being carefully

I've decided to choose a visual piece I find on DA every day and draw inspiration to write a poem. This shall be the first of many to come. 364 more, to be exact.
The first deviation I chose was Heylenne's Conjuring.

It's a beautiful piece that sparked a morose, dark vibe that's also eerily beautiful. Hopefully I've conveyed that in my written interpretation.
