Description
Well it's about time I'm finally uploading this! LOL. (zoom in for best quality)
Qutiix sent me his model for testing and making a preview image a couple of weeks ago, but I was too slow to get the picture done in time for the model's release. So, I spent some extra time in working on the picture itself, and then ran out of time to upload it last week. I was busy over the weekend... so finally getting a chance to upload it now. But that's fine, since it gave everyone else a chance to check out the model for themselves
The moment I saw 's new stylized Funtime Freddy model over on his Tumblr, I knew exactly what picture I wanted to make to show the personality I saw in him. The model originally does not include Bonnie, but a hand instead, so I added Qutiix 's adventure Bonnie model.
I still wanted to give him a villian look, but rather than all shiny and modern like over on the Foxy pic:
I went for a more old, classic, softer image. No phongboosting (except for on the piano), and just an old time classic setting.
I decided to go for a full scenebuild on this picture, rather than using a map. It gives me better control over the placement of models, as well as the ability to use AO and other material changes to each specific model. Plus, there was no map available to match the vision I had for the scene (I wasted a lot of time looking lol).
The picture contains 60 individual models, 20 lights, and 5 particle systems.
I took a couple of WIP screenshots (you can see how the the scene models changed as I did this):
And here is the raw SFM render before editing it in Adobe Lightroom:
So after a week of work, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. I hope you like it too!
