Chateau Grief 80

So much fun with this set.  Many more great set to come.  It makes it so much more cinematic when comic book characters exist within an environment, no?  I think I'm finding my footing here, it's really coming together how I imagine it.  

I've got a lot of inking to do this week!  I'm the one in a Silicon Valley Starbucks with the stacks of paper piled around my elbows listening to Stravinsky, with a teeny-tiny computer rendering a Julia Morgan-designed tower for 10 weeks from now... backgroundz precious, backgroundz.

Synopsis:  

Aging telepath Evil Overlord Xander has traded his youthful dream of joining the US military and using his superpowers to benefit humanity for over-the-hill cynicism, self-imposed exile on his private zoo-for-crazy-people Eynhallow Island, and a serious case of May-December midlife crisis.  And technically it's only kidnapping if she tries to leave.
