Step 1.

Make a post in your dA journal (please include this manual - I won’t grant any wishes, if I see no manual). The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real-life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Elf Christmas wishlist 2016Okay, last year was my first try with this event, and it was super nice. Now end of the year is coming and I can tell I realized also one of the "non physical" desires: to print my first own self-produced artbook and to take part to a collective artbook project! I also got the occasion to know new artists, to exchange opinions and advices, to learn a bit of French and so on!
So, here we go again!
It's all about... making a list. And see what will happen.

Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

The list:

1) I'd love to have a pixel (animated or still xD) icon of my avatar çwç

2) As the lazy person I am, I don't have an "official" outfit of my avatar, I believe there are more talented clothing artists out here, so I'd like one or two that reflect my likes (I like a lot of styles; classic lolita, mori style, "tumblirsh", cozy long knitted sweaters or j-fashion like this s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/7…

3) I know, making interesting pictures worth appreciating is completely up to me, but I'm not a confident person so some new wachers, constructive or nice comments and favs would mean a lot and will help me improve çWç (my gallery; sawakophoenny.deviantart.com/g…)

4) A month core extension would be very nice (although I'm planning to get a one-year bill, but the more the months the better xD)

5) Our teacher suggested us a pair of manga that are just fine for our current language level in Japanese, so a small amazon giftcard would be super awesome çwç

7) Uuuuh my creativity lacks in creating my own page skins are awful, so is someone good with this kind of stuff pls? çAç (you can see my terrible attempt in the "Commissions slots" custom box .3. I know the image size itself doesn't even fit, now I know the right proportions but it is actually the style that I'm still looking for çç)

8) (from now on these wishes may sound cheesy or insincere, but I really mean what I say!) for each comment you'll ever leave under my deviantations, go leave a kind comment to another deviantartist's picture who has none or few (of course you should truly like the image, don't force yourself uwu)
9) Apply this even to other medias (non-mutual friends on socials, nice people you're following on ig etc) Spread the love ppl òAò)9

10) So this is really important; if your city/town/country does not already impose you recycling, please do it anyway. Also recycling does not mean necessarily put the garbage in the right trashbin, you can re-use many things so check out the bilions of Diy tutorials on youtube. If you see a bee, please leave it alone, don't kill it; instead, plant some bee-friendly flowers (I've seen a post/image around facebook, I think you can easily find it just by asking the google too!). If you're going to have a cat/dog/bird, please consider adopting, even an old one, and let the pet choose you (they have preferences too, take it into consideration!)

[Update lists] Let's become Christmas Elves!Since it's the first winter that I'm active on DA, I just discovered the Elf Christmas Wishlist event and thought it was so fun that I had to pass it on! It's so exciting to make presents for people you care about just to see their reaction when they discover it! Making people smile warm your heart more than anything. If you can, maybe consider donating to associations for poor people or refugees?
