Personality: A wild and unpredictable creature of darkness, Maelstrom is equal parts dangerous and terrifying. With a history of being known as ruthless and highly territorial: many of whom crossed paths with him were greeted by cruel and violent end. He is stubborn, prideful and absolutely unyielding in the face of any foe. He his ruthless and holds a disdain for the stryx who've given up their freedom to form a bond with a rider. Yet, his opinion of forming a bond changed after being rescued from the steel traps of hunters who were paid to kill him. Whether it had been her courageousness or stupidity, he knew he owed her his life after being rescued that day. Begrudgingly, Maelstrom ends up soon succumbing into a type of partnership with the only one who would ever be allowed to ride him; however, he has a long way to go before he's even remotely considered tame. Let alone, trustworthy.
