Here you can ask me any burning questions you may have about the species or find out more about specific things that I may not have quite gotten to, or fully explained! Sometimes this Cake tends to just spew words in excitement and doesn't properly explain things. XDDD So by all means, feel free to ask me anything about these floofy babes! <333


What's the difference between the Dark and Shadow element?
~ Dark Elementals are  more geared towards spells regarding the complete absence of light. Taking away light/sight, creating pitch black atmospheres and calling forth the creepy dark creatures and monsters that live within places like the Abyss and the Void. Whereas Shadow Elementals NEED light so they have something to work with. No light means no shadows to manipulate. Examples of spells they could have would be along the lines of manipulating someone else's shadow to make the person move different or not move at all, or shadow jumping, or using their own shadow to act out and do something so they don't have to move.

Is the human shape is fixed or could they have a different appearance every transformation? For example appearing one time as Asian girl and the next time as old African woman of an entirely different build.
~Most Kamitsune prefer to adopt a single look as they tend to integrate themselves into human society, therefore making friends and the like. However, it is entirely possible to have multiple human guises if they want, it is not a one and done set power. So yes, it is perfectly fine if she wants to change her appearances regularly. It just means more work for you as the artist! XD

Does their hairstyle and colour (ombre) stay the same in their human form as that of their Kamitsune form?
~Hair styles stay the same, as that is your default style, though should you actually physically change the style (cut it, style it differently, grow it out) your human form would also reflect that. Hair colour however, is subject to you. For example, Kaelynn, has purple hair in her regular form, but in human form, she has black hair. You can decide whether colour changes or not.

How is clothing affected by the transformation? Does it stay the same or does it change along with the Kamitsune?
~Clothing is not affected by the shift, it is a physical, bodily change, not glamour. You would have to actually change your clothes as a normal person would change their clothes on a daily basis.

What exactly is the Spirit element?
~All forms of life have a Spirit, and a Spirit Elemental can tap into all of them,  living or deceased. Spirit Elementals are able to manipulate someone's Spirit to alter their mood (not to be confused with manipulating a person to do what you want, rather just helping change how they feel), and speaking with and summoning the Spirits of the dead, be it plant, animal or humanoid.

Does Shapeshift I take up an elemental crystal?
~Nope! It does not take up an Elemental Crystal, it is a freebie Spell that all Kamitsune learn that is simply part of their heritage and being. So you do not need to have it show on a halo!

What are the rules on Kamitsune interaction with other species (closed or otherwise) or "worlds"? I don't expect inherent world hopping, but could they meet another species if plot provisions were made?
~Interaction with other species currently is limited to the Kamitsune species, elemental creatures, and the human world as described in this group only. Other Closed or made up species as of yet are not in this world. This MAY change later on down the line as more is developed and I discuss things with other Species Owners, but it is a very tentative idea. So for now, everything is limited to the world I have created. Sorry guys!

Can Kamitsune eat real food at all, or only emotions?
~Absolutely! Kamitsune CAN eat other food, their digestive systems are just fine for it, but they still must feed off emotions to sustain themselves properly. A Kamitsune who only eats "normal" food would soon find themselves starving and dying if left too long without Essence.

Can my Kamitsune have tattoos and/or piercings?
~For sure!! Aesthetics such as tattoos, piercings, make-up and jewelry are totally up to you and free to add!

What exactly is Sectoral Heterochromia?
The inner halves of the eyes (the halves closest to the nose) are one colour, while the outer halves (the halves of the eye that are closest to the ears) are a secondary colour.

Can I do a different kind of Heterochromia for the eyes?
Yes, however, please note that any other Heterochromia than what is pictured above is considered a Mutation and adds an additional level of Rarity to the eye traits.

Can Angea and Devi make floof babies? What about Corrupted Angea and Devi?
No, Angea can only reproduce with other Angea, and Devi can only reproduce with other Devi. It is biologically impossible for the two to breed. A female's body is magically tuned specifically to their own kind, and rejects the DNA of the male of other species, rendering the male's sperm impotent. Corrupted Angea fall under the Devi category as well. As soon as they begin to "Fall", their body chemistry changes to become more like Devi. They are no longer considered an Angea, despite sometimes being called Fallen/Corrupted Angea.

Additionally, any other inter-species breeding (humans, etc,) is also out of the question.
