DD Suggestion Guidelines

Hello there



I realise it has taken me a month to get around to writing this. I have also blatantly plagiarised my previous guidelines from my first term as CV.

I am going to be honest. I am a busy lady and to maintain consistent DDs, I am relying on your suggestions. My target is 3 per week, but the caveat is that I need your help! If you're reading and faving lit, come tell me what you have found!

What I am looking for in DDs

I am comfortable featuring all forms of literature- be it fiction, nonfiction, poetry, prose, scripts even fanfiction.

 I like writing with personality- nothing bland or cliché (If it mentions "broken wings" then please don't even bother lol). 

 Please be noting of technicality as it is very important. Don't send in something riddled with spelling mistakes and poor grammar. Be realistic about the quality, don't just submit it on a whim.



 Remember to look at the substance, not just the style or idea. Anyone can cast text in a stylistic form, but what does that format add to the piece, if anything? 

 With fanfiction, I am happy to feature it, but will be taking it on its merit as a piece of prose not so much the fandom links it has- simply because I am most likely not going to know that fandom. Try to think about why you think it is DD worthy on that basis more than if they've perceived your favourite character exactly how you would.

If the piece of writing features an image header, please check the image has been credited otherwise it can't be featured.

There are now people on dA that have 6+ DDs (I know, we all want to be there!). I am not saying don't suggest people who have had serial DDs, but if you are then you need to tell me why because I'd rather DD people who haven't had one before, or at least haven't had 6+!
