Personality: BG is a flighty girl, only ever doing what she wants and barely tolerating what she doesn’t. She plays by her own rules, and often has trouble understanding other people’s points of view. As such she lives in her own world as much as one can while interacting with other people. Rather than absorbing new information, it gets filtered through her altered perspective and made to fit into her overall picture. If she learns something that contradicts almost anything she already believes, she will either disbelieve it or twist the information until it makes sense for her existing world view. 

She can be stubborn, ignorant and even rude, but very rarely mean. She approaches everything with genuine intent at first, and has seemingly boundless curiosity. However, once she decides how she feels about something, she does not normally change her opinion. She isn’t nice because she thinks she has to be or she’s supposed to be. She’s nice because that’s just how she is. She would never question why she’s being nice to somebody.

Bio/Lifestyle: The tale of Breakfast Girl begins on a crisp September morning, where she woke up an hour earlier than normal. She walked out into the kitchen and made a large stack of pancakes and eggs with a side of bacon. She set it out on the dining room table and watched as, one by one, her family took some and instantly walked out of the house to eat when they got to their destinations.

The next time she made breakfast, they told her that her pancakes were flat and stiff. This process of critique continued as she honed her culinary skills. But that wasn’t all that was changing. As time went on, steadily, her family began waking up earlier and earlier to enjoy eating her breakfast all together. Her formally distant and busy family were now happily talking, and that radiated throughout their entire relationship.

By nature, BG is not suited to school life. She is unable to even see cliques and can barely even keep herself inside a class she doesn’t care about. She honed her abilities to cheat in classes she didn’t care about, while treating everybody around her like they were friends. Initially she was met with resistance from the various groups in school. But after months and months her her genuine and stubborn demeanor, it simply became easier to be her friend rather than trying to get bullying through her thick skull. Her best friend is the ‘queen bee’ of the school, who no longer minds that BG has made the existing social structure largely irrelevant. 

After school she often goes to “Raul’s”, a bookstore, board game store and coffee shop near the city. She gets free drinks there after helping them redesign their breakfast menu, which she mostly uses on soda and juices. There she talks with everybody from the war veterans to the grade schoolers collecting trading cards. She’s something of a draw there now.

She also enjoys the nearby nature park, exploring the city and trying new foods. Often times she derails her friends’ plans and makes them do what she wants to do, but if they won’t go along she is always totally fine to play on her own as if nothing is wrong.
