Everything that you need to know on how to volunteer for a (Summer) Secret Santa event. Please read on.
After the gift extension deadline has passed, you will be given up to two weeks (through the third Sunday in February or August) to complete the drawing for the giftless participant. When the replacement gift deadline has passed, the event will conclude and any replacement gift submissions that have not been completed will be lost.
If the original participant dropped out (voluntary or automatically), they will be told to miss out on the upcoming event and will be spared from a ban. If it is necessary, you will be welcome to participate again if you are redeemed as a volunteer to replace the original artist who has left their receiving participant giftless.
If the original participant was automatically dropped from the event and if the event fails to meet the 95% goal, an replacement participant will be called up to do a set of mini-gifts. More information about mini-gifts can be found in #23 and #24 of the FAQ page.

1. What is a volunteer (replacement) artist?
Basically, it is someone who agrees to replace an original participant who either (A) failed to deliver their gift drawing by the deadline or (B) dropped out from the event (either voluntary or automatically). The replacement artist will have the opportunity to step in and take over the wishlist of a participant who has been left giftless.2. Do you have to be a member to volunteer?
It all depends whatever or not the artist agrees to sign-up for this group or not.3. How much time does a replacement artist have to complete their gift?

4. How many replacement artists are we looking for?
It all depends on how many original participants have failed to complete the gift drawing or dropped out from the event. We want as many receiving participants as possible to be happy that they received the gift drawing that they wanted.5. How do you pick which replacement artists are needed?
Replacement artists are selected based on how many replacement spots for a humanoid, mixed or anthro artwork is available.6. Lastly, what happens to the original participant who was assigned to their receiver?

Easter Update
I hope that you all had a good Easter weekend as much as I did. :aww:
As it stands right now, going into Week 8 of the sign-up period, the Summer Secret Santa 2020 event has accumulated 12 new participants over the past week, plus 3 new participants this week, bringing the cumulative total to 228 participants in this event so far! :dance:
I'm really that to here some of the participate are joining in and you still have plenty of time to participate within the next six weeks.
The next blog update will come on Friday, April 24th when there there will be one month remaining in the sign-up period. This is where we're gonna start making reminde
Summer Secret Santa 2020 Sign-ups: Halftime Update
Hello everyone! :wave: I'm glad that this event is coming out successful so far! :D
Now, here's a halftime update! :D
After 6½ weeks, sign-ups for this year's Summer Secret Santa 2020 event currently stands at 217 participants. This month alone, only 15 participants have signed up for the event. That's not too great...and there are now 45 days remaining to sign-up! :meow:
The next update will come on Tuesday, April 14 where I will provide a Easter update to see where were at.

April Update
Hello everyone! :thumb462123262: The calendar has changed to the new month of April! :dance:
The sign-up period for the Summer Secret Santa 2020 event has gone well into Week 6 and we finished the month of March with a total of 99 participants! So far in this event, we have achieved a total of 202 participants!
Now that we're in the new month of April, more wishlist entries for the event are needed for this event this month.
But to do that, we still need your help! Invite your friends over to sign up for the Summer Secret Santa 2020 event! If you haven't signed up, you still have plenty of time to decide! So, let's still get those new wish
First Summer Secret Santa 2020 update!
Today marks the first day of Spring...and it officially begins at 8:50 PM Pacific Daylight Time tonight! :dance::heart:
In my previous blog, I opened up roles for anyone who would like to help contribute to my group and one member has agreed to contribute! Thank you for the help. I really appreciate it. :)
Right now, sign-ups for the Summer Secret Santa 2020 event is well into its third week and so far, 172 participants have agreed to take part and sign up for the event! We're half-way towards breaking our previous record of 340 participants and things are going good so far! :D
