Personality: Young and soft of heart, Yukine’s sense of curiosity is untarnished and finds arriving in Shimora to be an adventure of the most importance. He is a lover of life in general, so of course getting to meet an entirely new form of being excites him. Perhaps a little too much, as his youth tends to see him acting rather immaturely. Of course this boy never means harm, he just wants to learn all there is to know about these humans and domesticated shi’vali. He is unable to understand hatred as it is, seeing it as a poison of the soul and truly feels sorry for those who hold onto it. He had once heard a wise human say that holding onto a grudge was like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Since then he has made it his mantra, something he’ll often try to repeat those whose tempers might otherwise get the best of them. Actually rather sensitive. Acutely aware of what others think of him in fact. Yukine tries his absolute best to make an excellent first impression. During the times he actually fails to do so, he’ll spout apologizes, trying to mend whatever wrongs he thinks he’s made. Obviously he’s still learning and doesn’t quite get that he can’t please everyone. Doesn’t stop him from trying though...
