Kazh-Arah Angel-Zone OCT Ref Sheet

I donno what compelled me, but I've had the sudden urge to join an OCT
seemed fun and I love anything that has to do with angels so I decided to try out an audition.
Gonna be in B&W but the ref is coloured Been a while since I designed this char, and it felt like he deserves a proper story
Allright, 'nough rambling, lets roll!

Name: Kazh-Arah; meaning Arah of the Kazh dragon flight; Arah for short
Nicknames: Ary or Kaz (called only by Noctus)
Age: 35 years (around 17 in human terms)
Species: Stone Skin Dragon
Height: 180cm (70 inches) at the shoulder - measured like you would measure a horse
Length: 7m (cca 23ft) nose tip to tail tip
Wingspan: 10,5m (cca 34ft)

Likes: Warm sunny weather, precious stones and metals, being respected
Dislikes: Dark places, nights without the moon, being left behind, being ignored

Strengths: very strong,  very good sense of smell, skin is very thick and fireproof, sharp tail spikes, teeth and claws, agile in the air, can breathe fire (short bursts, limited to 6 per day)
Weaknesses skin can be penetrated by bullets, sharp objects and magic; Arah is strong, but very slow and heavy, getting airborne and gathering momentum when running on the ground takes him precious time; can't see in the dark 

Personality: Kazh-Arah is self absorbed, narcissistic and selfish. He thinks himself important and gets irritated and grumpy if he thinks he isn't getting the attention he deserves. He comes off as proud and confident, but on the inside
Kaz is terrified of being left behind, being replaced and disappointing his parents. He feels insecure and lonely and has a hard time connecting with anyone due to the abrasive personality he projects.

Bio and useful info: Arah is the only son of Kazh-Varhzun, the current leader of the Kazh dragon flight. Being the only male dragon the flight leader has sired, Arah has done his best to stand up to the high expectations and has been raised with the belief that he will one day succeed his father as the leader of the flight. His dreams and expectations however are crushed, when his father names another flight member as his successor. The already somewhat insecure young dragon feels hurt and betrayed and leaves in an outburst of temperament and anger.

Arah is a young stone skin dragon. The name comes from the thick skin they are born with. The skin is like cured leather with a rough sand paper like texture, that gets thicker as they grown and age, to the point when it becomes impenetrable and resistant to fire and magic, at which point they are considered adults. In order for the skin to get to that stage, young dragons must supplement their diet of meat with precious stones and minerals. The mineral diet also affects their colouring, slowly shifting from the youngiling gray into a more versatile array of colours and patterns. Arah has gotten his colours by consuming blue topaz, lapis lazuli and tourmaline minerals.

At some point in his lifetime, Arah has acquired a peculiar companion in the form of a familiar. Noctus is a shadow spirit that is attached to Arahs own shadow. While he pretends to not care much about the peculiar being, Arah is actually relieved to have him as it makes him feel less lonely (but he would never admit that).
