Hey all!
I'm really sorry for being inactive this past week. I haven't had much time to get onto DeviantArt and comment, post or look at art.
Many of you might know that I work part-time doing food delivery. Reason being that I haven't been on, I got a "promotion" at work. The promotion was completely unexpected and it's not really an official promotion. My boss, Steve, is an independent distributor and had two people working for him: me and another man named John. John passed away about two weeks ago. I was getting ready to quit and find a more permanent job when my boss came and asked if I would like to train for John's position making deliveries. I said yes, knowing I would get more hours and a raise in pay and I'm hoping that eventually this will turn into a full-time job (and possibly a career if I decide to purchase my own delivery route).
My hours have gradually been getting longer, so I'll try to get on when I can. Hopefully, I'll be able to work on a better schedule in the next couple of weeks.
Also please, if you pray, say some prayers for John and his family and for my boss, Steve. They were good friends and worked with each other for a long time, so it's been hard on both their families. Thanks in advance for your prayers.
Without further ado, I'd like to present two more great artists for a feature!

His comic is full of shrewd humor and puns as well as pages of entertaining scenarios which do not fail to impress. He has a kind, funny and insightful personality which shows in both his work and his welcoming interactions with others. BrolyNo1Consorter works hard to share his skill and talent with us, so be sure to show your encouragement and support by checking out his gallery here!

Every work in his gallery is sure to bring you to a new place and offer an amazing insight to the world and to painting. His work covers a wide variety of topics and themes and it is assured that something will catch the eye. In an especially impressive gesture of generosity, he also offers PSD files of some of his works to help other artists learn. qs2435 has a wonderfully open and genuinely nice personality and is very welcoming to others. I encourage you to check out his gallery here and be sure to follow him on his other social media sites, as well!

Thank you so very much for taking the time to visit these artist's profile pages and galleries! As artists, it's important to know that our work is being seen and appreciated by others. Don't forget to leave comments on their art, as well! Actual verbal and written feedback (not just Faves!) is the best way to show your support and encouragement for others, even if only to say how much you like their art! It truly does inspire people to keep creating and sharing their work with us and a few nice words can go a long way for many artists.
Thank you all again and I hope you have a great day! God bless,

Hello, Goodbye
Ah, DeviantArt. Hello again. But also, goodbye. The world has really changed, and I would be lying if I said I haven't either. It's not as if it were a sudden series of changes, but my current situation isn't something I might have foreseen, though. Last year I lost two grandparents within a month of each other (non-covid); got into several minor car accidents; quit my job and found a new one after an unemployed summer; dropped contact with nearly all acquaintances (online and off); went through and mostly overcame severe depression/anxiety; avoided taking my own life; drew a little, but lived even less. This year, I've worked my new job; managed to save some money, and drew a little more. However, the world threatens terrible things on me and my family because of the politics and powers behind the covid movement, simply because we are non-compliant, patriotic citizens who do not support the tyrannical goings-on of the government, both local and federal. I won't say more about
Quick update
Hey all!
I hope you're all doing great and keeping up the hard work.
I've been away from DeviantArt for a while now, but I'm not sure I'm mentally ready to jump back into an active social life. I had a breakdown after Easter (which required intervention), and since then, I've been fighting myself and some health problems.
I keep you all in mind every day. Sorry to keep you all at arm's length and disappear like this. It's petty and really isn't fair of me. I'm a little afraid to open up about my problems (or anything really), and maybe that's part of the problem. I know that's not much of an excuse, but I hope you can understand a li
Journal Meme 'cuz im bored
I should be working on a drawing to submit for a critique, but I'm feeling pretty "meh" right now. So, maybe this will distract me.
1. ONE OF YOUR SCARS, HOW DID YOU GET IT?
On my right knee, there's a nice scar I got from jumping in a snow bank a few years back. I gashed it open on some metal edging and should have gotten stitches, but didn't and now there's a nice scar and a quarter-sized chunk of numb skin right beneath it. I've had knee trouble now and then ever since. :D
2. WHAT IS ON THE WALLS IN YOUR ROOM?
My "room" is the basement. There are several pictures of Jesus, some marine posters (my brother's) and lotsa knick-knack ty
Heyo
Hey all!
I haven't been very active these past few weeks on DeviantArt, but I have been doing more drawing recently! For me, that's something to be proud of. Also, I'm not feeling so dang depressed and that's really been a milestone in the last 5 or so years. And then, I've been doing some stuff with learning how to draw manga (and learn more about the different styles of manga).
Which leads me to a promotion that I'm not getting paid for, but would like to share with anyone interested:
If you haven't heard of Manga University, and are interested in drawing manga, learning the style or even just investing yourself more in the Japanese c
