[wyngro]Four Eyes

Despite it being a nice day outside, one spot of the nook had noises of frustration and anger. Around an orange wyngling where several balls of paper that had clearly been crushed up and tossed in frustration. Baste were frustrated because her drawings never seemed to be right, they all looked blurry and from to her and it frustrated her greatly. She didn't even notice when another wyngling picked up on of the paper balls and unfolded them. She quickly looked up when she was asked what was wrong, the other wynglings face being a mesh of somewhat blurry colors.

She frustratingly with tears in her eyes told with a snarl that nothing looked right on her drawings and it was getting her angry and frustrated, after which she apologized for snarling at him. He said it was fine and told her that her drawings looked just fine with exception of the frustrated lines cutting across the whole paper. She couldn't understand what he meant but that, but with some prodding, he got her to go tell alma her troubles as she would surely know what to do. Alma ended up getting dr. f to come examine her eyes to find out what was wrong and if it was permanent, this was where she learned that her blurry vision was permanent and that she would need glasses to see clearly. Alma was given the strength that the glass in bastes glasses would need while baste and the other wyngling, who she had come to know as sol, was sent off to play.

What seemed like a week later, baste was laying on the floor inside the nook by her bed, drawing carefully as she now knew there wasn't anything wrong with her drawings, but her eyes, when a black object was put down in front of her by a familiar yellow wyngling. She sat up and asked him what it was and he told her that it was a box and that she should open it. She hesitated a bit before reaching out for the box and picking it up. It seemed like the hinge on the box was closed with a spring or something as it felt a little bit tough to open, but she managed to open it, and pulled out a frame of sorts. It kinda looked like sunglasses that other wynglings had, but with clear, see through glass and sol told her that they were her new glasses and to put them on. She placed them onto her face and put the leather coated chain over her head and resting on her neck, which would prevent her from dropping them, and her eyes widened at how clear everything was. She marveled at how face she could see and now she could see sol's face clearly. She smiled with glee and gave sol a big hug, the glasses case her glasses came in laying at her feet. She figured she would need to save that to put her glasses in at night.

Baste went and cleaned the floor in front of her bed, putting away the paper and pencils before going along with Sol to play with the other wynglings now that she could see clearly again. It never really crossed her mind that some might mock her, even then, she didn't really care because she was busy marveling over how clear everything was. She looked at the trees, the sky, everything around her. She could see all the details of everything that weren't too far away, and even those things far away from her, weren't blurry but rather became smaller as they got further away. She smiled widely, happily running around with the other wynglings on this shiny, sunny day.
