STRENGTHS | WEAKNESSES

+ Unrelenting Force: She hates seeing a half-assed job. Once given a task, she will make sure to go all the way unless a higher up says otherwise.
+ Weapon Mastery: Rina handles her huge sword as if it were a normal sized tachi katana. Although slower due to it's massive size, she shows no visible strain swinging it around.
+ Hand-to-Hand Combat: If ever in battle she is disarmed, she's a 5th-dan in Judo. She's kinda rusty now but she claims it's like riding a bicycle, you never forget.

- Tank Mode: She might be fast but in no way is she flexible. Once she's running, she finds it hard to stop on point or turn sharp corners. Basically if she's moving she's not as accurate or flexible when she's stationary.
- Bushido: Following along the lines as Unrelenting Force, she will not stop even if she's crippled and will fight until she's unable to or dies. She holds her duty and loyalty very seriously. (So basically, you need to literally drag her away from dying.)
- High Visibility: Due to her build and nature, there is almost no way you wouldn't notice her in a crowd. She knows this and will fail grandly with spy jobs. She also has elephant feet, heels clicking with every step she takes.

<sub>Rina takes herself very seriously, some might say too seriously. She holds the samurai bushido spirit closely. She is very loyal once she swears on it and is honorable till death. As both a person and a warrior, Rina is courageous and honest. She isn't afraid to do things she is required to do or say whatever she thinks. She can also be a bit dense in that sense since she just says what she thinks regardless of what the other party may think, unless it's the leader. Rina is protective of those she holds dear and innocents (or who she thinks is innocent). She would easily put herself between them and the danger ahead. Although she seems like a mostly aloof cold hearted warrior, she does care about people but in her own silent way.

Going off her honesty, she comes off as blunt to many. Always saying what she feels and not sugar coating her words. She's rather cynical and also prideful. Rina knows the world they live in isn't as innocent as what was once painted for her in the past, she also tries to make sure for every action she makes, she can account for it whole heartedly. She can be considered rather obsessive and stubborn about it, never letting go and trying to keep pushing until the end. Can also come off as a single-track mind.</sub>

|| BACKSTORY

<sub>Rina had a relatively normal childhood except discipline was highly emphasized on, more so than normal Japanese families. She had her parents and a (nonidentical) twin sister. They were close, normal for twins. Of course, sometimes when you make the leash too tight, one tends to want to break free. As the older twin, she was responsible for her sister but that didn't stop the pushover in her to let her sister influence her. They started sneaking out after hours to play with the other older kids on the block. Her sister had a tendency to stir up trouble so she took it upon herself to protect the other. This always ended up with her getting told off the next day. This just continued on up till high school.

Rina has taken Judo since she was young and had shown much talent for it, so much so that she easily rose to her first dan when she was in the final year of high school. She had participated in many contests since then, always managing a silver when she came to nationals. She to put her dream of getting gold on the failure list when she graduated. She then made it a point to make sure to try her hardest if she wanted it badly. After high school, she didn't feel the need to continue her education so she told her family, who were planning to move to another city which was closer to the school her sister got a place in resided, to go on without her. At first they were reluctant but her determination outwitted them. She wanted to become independent as soon as possible and decided that this was the best course of action but just like her, her parents insisted on sending money over. Since then, she had a full-time job as a convenience store worker and became a disciple of a well known martial arts master. 

Her master was most well known as one of the last practitioners of swordsmanship. For years, she studied under him. He taught his disciples the many principles they should abide by. She made sure to take it to heart and practice the way of the sword. This pace lasted until the mass panic caused by the assassination of Leader XXX.  When it came down to it, the disciples had to fend off the dangers that broke into the dojo. This included thieves, thugs and anyone who bears harm to the dojo. Eventually many started leaving to make sure their families where safe. Rina herself lost contact with her family in another city. She didn't know if they were okay or gone but she knew it was probably safer to stay in this city, plus she had her master to look after. She was the last one left and before long, they got overwhelmed. Long story short, they were left with almost nothing and her master was fatally wounded. Knowing he wasn't going to last long, he handed her the sword and told her to protect the ones she could.

Years later, she was still juggling jobs, she heard rumors of an uprising gang that wanted to protect people and help rebuild the country. She didn't hesitate, she went looking for how to join. She eventually found some way to make contact with Torimodosu's leader. She swore that she believed in what the gang wanted and would do anything to help. She would do almost anything to get in the gang ans somehow spewed that she would tattoo the gang's symbol from her neck to her chest to show her loyalty. The rest, is history.</sub>
