Story:

When deciding to come to Tony's show, she had placed a call in with him, looking for riders. Coyote had been show leased for a little bit, but the rider had decided not to continue past the show. Despite her success, most riders who tried her cited her height as being discouraging. Colonel hadn't had much attention. Without a junior rider, he couldn't be proven as a winner, and definitely was more work to ride than most of the dead broke ponies on the circuit. He had done well in a few pony jumpers and low open jumpers, but hadn't made much headway anywhere else. 
Tony suggested his step daughter for Colonel, and said he would look into some riders to try out her others. Upon arrival, Kaity stroked the pony's neck. He really was a fantastic horse, had a lot of ability and try, and was a proven international. But finding a good home for a pony more often was about being quiet and not being a great ride. She wasn't sure what she would do with him. She needed a nice kid to come along and make Colonel what he could be again.
